Ooh raclette...yummy - that'll put a stop to the old weight-loss Muse. Have fun stepping on those scales too - won't be long 'til you can't actually see them & then you'll have to guess how much you've put on or just live in ignorant bliss!!

Amazing how much shiz we'll put up with from a decent farrier Silv...I happen to really rate mine (I know you might disagree Box) but get really frustrated that he'll only communicate by note & refuses to get a mobile phone. Have been know to wait for hours for him to turn up - he rarely communicates an actual time, except for lunch-time (sometime between 12 & 3) Angry

Have also experienced ishoos with shifting concrete blocks from my arse (must drink more water) and found palpating through fanjo wall helps to loosen it up a bit [bleurgh]. Things have been a bit easier since I started on the prunes

Hurrah for scan news Drommy - now you can go rock the kasbah with not a worry Smile

Box - seem to remember recommending the bump-bra to you last time...yep - she winged & whined through the last pregnancy too. Are you sure this one's bigger??

Backinthebox · 13/08/2010 16:16

Haha! Yes, you recommended a bump bra to stop the bump bouncing around while I was not-cantering around on the horse. I haven't got galloping issues atm, and it's really only in bed when I want to roll over that I have a problem now. I am sure this one's bigger. Doesn't poke horns out of the sides of my tummy like DD did though - this one just kicks repeatedly at the same point over and over again. Just under my ribs on the right hand side. BTW, your farrier does have a mobile phone - you just don't have the number Wink.

Medee · 13/08/2010 16:43

I have Hummingbird strawberry cheesecake cupcakes in the oven. First bit of baking I have done since being updiffed, took lots of willpower not to eat the raw cake mix. I hope I don't injure myself taking them out of the oven.

CluckyKate · 13/08/2010 18:09

Shock - shame he never uses it Box!!!

Mmmmm....cake

Cosmosis · 13/08/2010 19:17

Isabella Oliver are doing 33% off their new maternity collection until midnight Sunday. Isabella Oliver

SilverSky · 13/08/2010 20:53

WHOOP WHOOP for the dromlaydee who is growing her own baybee!

Farrier update - he is on his hols. Not back for ten days. MuvvaCruncha! Balls. Cant find the shoe - double bum. So nag out during day with wrapped foot and in at night. Cant leave the foot covered for ten days as it will go yukky with thrush and shit. Will have to find another farrier and get new set put on if I can find someone.

Turns out old sharer is riding another horse at yard, for free I think. When first heard I was a bit "Oh!" but now I am "cool - works for me!".

Have had afternoon off work shopping crazy!! Our local MC has a chap working there. Fine, equal opps and all that but the bloke STINKS!!!! Random post I know.

muser I loves the Raclette. In fact Raclette in the fridge smells better than the man in MuvvaCare.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 14/08/2010 10:37

Congratulations on your fantastic news drom.

Two pregnancy threads to make you grind your teeth:
i) I was stung by a wasp so I went to the chemist to see if it had killed my baybee
ii) I'm 13 weeks pregnant and my jeans are tight - have I killed my baybee

PollyPoo · 14/08/2010 10:52

Those kind of threads make me nuts Ski. I just cannot believe these people are fully functioning adults. They give me The Rage good and proper. Mind you, what doesn't at the mo. Grin

Right, I'm off to the beach in the rain. yay!

Muser · 14/08/2010 11:12

Wasp one isn't actually that bad. She was just asking about the pain on the thread and how to deal with it. It's not "I carried a cake" mentalism.

Medee · 14/08/2010 11:33

I'd love to be buying some maternity clothes, but am going to wait till after the scan.

I did some more menkulling, outward at MrM this time, about not feeling as pregnant etc. Shoot me now.

Muser · 14/08/2010 11:36

Symptoms fluctuate. It does not have to mean something. It is just your body's way of making you crazy.

Muser · 14/08/2010 11:36

When is your scan anyway?

Medee · 14/08/2010 11:42

Friday, so not too much longer to wait. BTW, in ref to elsewhere, my letter says to arrive with full bladder.

Muser · 14/08/2010 11:46

That's not long at all. Nice to know all of us will be scanned by the end of next week.

Interesting about your letter. Mine doesn't specify at all. I'm going to not drink loads on the grounds that even when not pregnant I have the smallest bladder in the world. So it wouldn't take long to fill it.

Medee · 14/08/2010 11:51

can someone tell me how long a scan normally takes, MrM wants to know what to tell his boss about how long he'll be out the office for?

Muser · 14/08/2010 11:53

My 8 week one was very quick but I had to wait about 45 mins longer than my appointment time. That was in the EPU though so they may have had emergencies in. The scan itself was about 15 minutes, if that!

Medee · 14/08/2010 11:58

thanks Muse.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 14/08/2010 12:30

Medee The scan itself is very quick - but of course figure in waiting time and if there's anything else they're going to discuss. But... you will probably want to put aside a good hour afterwards so you can go and grab a coffee together, hold hands, weep & just be overcome a little! :)

Muser · 14/08/2010 13:39

Just went for first run since being diffed. Do you think I've shaken the baby out? Grin

FannyPriceless · 14/08/2010 14:03

Yay camel.Grin

muse Were you running with a cake?

Muser · 14/08/2010 15:08

I was not. Cake is for after running.

Backinthebox · 14/08/2010 16:48

I has made a cake today. Courgette cake, of course.

SkiHorseWonAWean · 14/08/2010 16:50

Reckless cake imbibing :( - won't somebody think of the baybees?

SilverSky · 14/08/2010 17:37

You PESHs are WILD! it's a wonder you are not on the NSPCC's wanted list.

In equine news, found farrier who has been to see hoss. Had to have full set redone so am a few quid lighter. Thought he did a great job and am considering using him from now on. Assuming that all shows now stay on. Nag is also suffering from thrush. He pongs!!
