sweetheart · 15/09/2005 13:36

welcome back Minnie

Glad to hear your having a relaxing day at home george

Nemo, I know it was probably a very stressful 20 mins ro so - but I'm sorry - I had to have a little giggle at your thread - esp that Adam was happily reading to himself when you got in!!! Dd once managed to lock herself in my parents toilet (before they moved the lock to the top of the door) and I had to call the fire brigade to get her out. It was horrible at the time but looking back on it now I think it's very funny!!

scully · 15/09/2005 13:42

have to admit I also had a giggle at your story nemo, must have been quite stressful at the time
where is the xmas babies thread, I can't find it......

kangel · 15/09/2005 13:45

Sorry Nemo but that did make me giggle and SH - Oh what we all have to look forward to with these bundles we are carrying! They can be so funny (but obviously not at the time). I love listening to the storys that my Mum comes out with about my brother when he was a toddler - oohhhh he was naughty but still tries to deny it, he 30 now!!!

DQ - Hope my posting on the other thread didn't offend you.

dramaqueen72 · 15/09/2005 14:14

course not kangel, not at all, you were dead right there. its the thread that winds me up, not you lovely dec ladies

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 14:17

scully just for you!!!

Although I would avoid it if you have a high blood pressure or are hormonal!!

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 14:19

kangel - there is one story about my dd which always makes me giggle. It's probably a bit long so I'll save it for another time but your right. These little bumps will soon be getting into all kinds of mischeif!!

MINNIE1 · 15/09/2005 14:21

I am trying my hardest not to reply but there is on comment on that thread and i am fuming over it!!!!!!!

dramaqueen72 · 15/09/2005 14:27

kangel · 15/09/2005 14:29

I am fuming with the comment from Swiperfox and am currently doing well at stopping myself from really letting go!!

Good job i'm off to the midwive now!!

See you guys tomorrow

MINNIE1 · 15/09/2005 14:34

Bloody hell i cannot beleive it, there are hundreds of reason not to have buba at xmas!!!! please there are hundreds of reasons not to have bubs in summer, winter, etc

MINNIE1 · 15/09/2005 14:38

kangel
the same comment!!!!

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 15:00

I dare somone to start a thread called

"Is it the worst thing in the world to have a summer baby"

ninah · 15/09/2005 15:05

Early September is rubbish cos you have an extra year of nursery fees ...
Summer is rubbish cos you have to give parties
Umm spring is rubbish cos you might have a Pisces
the list could be endless
'worst thing in the world' .... grrrr

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 15:09

ninah I'm a pisces!!!

Just been on the phone to the tax credit people so now I'm feeling all

How on earth do they expect us to find nearly £800 in one bloody month when they paid it to us over a period of 3 years!!!!!!! GGgrrrrr

MINNIE1 · 15/09/2005 15:12

If we were really trying to time having kids we would never have them at all!! Its not going to stop us being fab mummys having fab babies.

ninah · 15/09/2005 15:16

just kidding! some of my best friends are piscean, honest!

ninah · 15/09/2005 15:21

the point I'm making is that it's a silly bldy reason .... although the September one does has a horrid resonance!

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 15:26

lol - only joking. I'm not really!!!!

Perhaps we should start a thread called

"Isn't it the best thing in the world to have an xmas baby"

scully · 15/09/2005 15:26

Thx SH I'll go get a cup of tea and have a read....
They expect you to repay all of that in one hit, can't you do it in instalments?

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 15:28

apparently we have to repay it by 10th October. I've asked for a dipute form - more work for me due to their cock up!!!

It just makes me sooooo

Nemo1977 · 15/09/2005 15:31

grrrrrrrrr Sh dont they make your blood boil..I have sent of my letter, appeal form and back up letters today so hoping to get ours sorted soon. Meanwhile Ebay selling and dhs parents have subsidised the loss.

sweetheart · 15/09/2005 15:33

trouble is Nemo because the main bulk of the money (£560) is from our 03/04 award I am going to struggle to find the info I need.

I'm have a horrible feeling we will have to give in and agree to repay the money.

The woman I spoke to today gave me lots of figures which I'm going to have to try and go back and check - but some of them are from 2001!!!!!

dramaqueen72 · 15/09/2005 16:11

funny how efficent they are when it come to paying them...tho they cant manage to pay us correctly stupid people.
i have just made cookies...with half the amount of flour i meant too. stupid pg brain fog. have strange chewy things now instead of usual cookies........will have to serve them with icecream and insist they were meant to be like that!duh!
