pmsl at you lot!!! I'm not having anthing "new" done to my hair. I tend to go a bit darker for the winter and then blonde for the summer so I'm not having anything done that I haven't done before. Apart from it's by a new hairdresser this time so I'm hoping she is good and it looks OK.

Baby has been really really quiet today - do you think it could have anything to do with my osteopath appt???

Lunch was lovely - although I'm feeling very full and very uncomfortable now

dramaqueen72 · 08/09/2005 15:35

bet that its s/h, baby is sooo relaxed now hes snoozing! suspect the moment you put your feet up tonight he will spring into action! mine does...actually get abit uncomfy its so active late evenings.
just had a funny turn in tescos. hot flustered pg lady is not a good idea in busy hto supperstore with heavy trolley. why cant they have people to push the stupid trolley for me?!

sweetheart · 08/09/2005 15:38

oh DQ - how horrible. I had one of those turns when I was preg with dd. It was horrible - remember loosing my sight and hearing and feeling all hot and flustered. It was very scary!!!!

Slow down lady!!! Time to start taking care of yourself!!!!

dramaqueen72 · 08/09/2005 15:44

yes, maybe. but i'm already feeling ugilty about the lack of housework i have managed today. i seem to be so much slower at everything, walking and carrying just wipes me out. my feet are killing me and all i have done today is walk round common with dd2, feed ducks and squirrels, put on ONE load of washing (need to do three) sort out paperwork thats piled up, write shopping list and meals out for next 7 days, and go to tescos for an hour. I am used to doing so much and being so efficent, this is killing me!

ninah · 08/09/2005 15:57

DQ - you are doing too much lady!!! Slow down.

goldenoldie · 08/09/2005 17:33

London lunch meet up for November mums is going ahead tomorrow.

If any December mums want to join us just come along to Wagamammas at 12:30, upstairs in the N1 Centre, Isington, opposite the Angel tube - or CAT me.

george32 · 08/09/2005 18:56

Sweetheart, thank you so much for sending me the leg & foot stuff.
It arrived today so I'm off upstairs to douse myself.

DQ, think after your funny turn today you should start internet shopping. It's lovely when they turn up with all your bags ready packed for you. Are you feeling OK now?

bonkerz · 08/09/2005 20:21

Hi girls, WELL, slept all night and didnt really feel any better for it. Head still ached this morning but i trudged through. Thank god i have some great childminder friends who all decided to come to mine and cook me lunch and tidy my house! Bless them. Still feel very achey but better. Had a horrid moment though when i fell over, and felt totally stupid about it! Thankfully i didnt land on my tummy and only scuffed my hand and knee but i felt like an idiot and sobbed all over my mate who was giving me a lecture about doing too much and slowing down.
Have finally realised that Alex gets hiccups every day at about 7.15 and lasts for about 15 mins! COuldnt quite work it out and thought she was just kicking lots but now understand that its frequent jumps etc and is hiccups, bless!!!
Am off to bed again now cos long day again tomorrow but

ONLY 1 MORE DAY TO WEEKEND!!!!

dramaqueen72 · 08/09/2005 21:29

george, glad all is well with you -now can you please see if you can make our meet up??!
I recently stopped internet shopping got sick of them being useless at turning with everything I ordered -nothing like planning to make dinner with X, Y and Z and they turn with E,F, and G!!!! maybe think about doing it again as I get really pg. thanks guys for all saying I should slow down etc, but I'm okay honest. I usually do stacks more than mentioned there; busy household, mum of 3.5 etc.......so I will have to work something out. I cant get behind YET! and george, trust me, tho it might not sound it I swear I do far more at home 'not working' than i ever did at work!!
thanks for the tip about scans at baby show s/h. dh and I are thinking of going there and just might be tempted, we shall see. I will be 31wks tho, and know i can do only about 3 steps before I need a lie down at that stage! is anyone else going? could be another meet-adec-mum-moment!!

scully · 09/09/2005 08:30

haven't been to one of those shows before, are they good? didn't bother last time, but might be tempted this time....
definitely busier at home than at work. I have trouble sitting down and doing nothing at home, don't have that problem at my desk though

ebbie22 · 09/09/2005 08:36

Hi all,am hoping to go to the baby show on the sat....

Nemo1977 · 09/09/2005 08:39

morning all

jealous of all of you going to the show...lol

Not a lot going on here apart from toddlers is back on woooooooo hoooooooooooooo and ds must have known as he slept in till 8am I actually had to wake dh for work which is odd as since ds was born we have not had an alarm clock...thank you dark winter mornings for my new sleeping son

george32 · 09/09/2005 08:42

Oh dear, definitely making the wrong decision taking a year off then!!

I know, I know DQ, I need to get the meet up date sorted. I don't want to say yes & then not be able to come so I've been hanging back. Can I be a provisional yes at the moment?

Nemo1977 · 09/09/2005 08:43

george thats what we have all said. Obviously no one can guarantee as we dont know what will be happening.

george32 · 09/09/2005 08:46

OK, then I'm in!
Shall I put a note on the other thread?

Very of your lie in Nemo. 6.00am start for me each day - Grrrr!

Nemo1977 · 09/09/2005 08:48

lol george with that lie in i feel like a different person...pmsl

yeah just add to other thread

scully · 09/09/2005 09:16

yes, also up at 6am this morning, sadly.....at least it's Friday though, and sunny so far! have a biggish bbq at our place tomorrow, so hopefully the weather will stay nice. could do without a lounge room full of people.....

dramaqueen72 · 09/09/2005 11:50

slightly off topic, but I need some help! I need to find a car park in London near the Strand, for monday. how do I go about it? dh has business there monday and I am going too. promsied him would find car park so we dont ahve to do train with dd2............me and my big mouth!

george32 · 09/09/2005 12:18

NCP carparks are probably your best bet. Bit pricey but usually easyish to find as they have big signs outside!

ncp strand

You'll not be far from me on Monday then.

dramaqueen72 · 09/09/2005 12:25

THANKYOU george. do we book or anything? or will there be spaces 'probably'? i know nothing about parking in london.
so where are you? I will wave

george32 · 09/09/2005 12:33

You just turn up at them & pay when you leave. I would imagine you should get a space as regular commuters to London probably find cheaper, dodgy backstreet packing but I don't know for certain.
Don't forget to pay your congestion charge!!

I'm on New Oxford Street, well for the next 5 weeks anyway.
