My beautiful, brave Harry bear

I have posted alot in the special needs section over the years. I am heart broken. My beautiful, brave Harry passed away peacefully on tuesday in mine and his daddys arms. I am lost, heartbroken. I want him back so much. I want to kiss him and cuddle him. I want him. He was only five and had been very ill and disabled since birth (www.harrysjourney.co.uk). He took us all by suprise though. we knew we wouldnt have him long, but i didnt think he would go this soon. He had been ill at christmas and was only given hours to live, but he fought it. It left him exhaused and he slept most days, all day. He couldnt fight anymore.

I love him so much. He is in the butterfly suite at claire house at the moment and we are spending time with him till his funeral on friday. I miss him so much it hurts physically. I know he is better where he is and that his body works now, but i want him with me. Please tell me it gets easier.

Dizzy- so very sorry to hear of your sad loss what a beautiful boy. I put a poem on here a while ago entitled GODS GARDEN part 1 and 2 I do'nt know if you'll draw comfort from it I hope it helps.
My sn daughter has lost lots of her friends,.All beautiful, loved and very special.
Your little one will be in good company.

I cannot imagine the emotional pain u must be going through at the moment I just read ur OP and am crying at the thought couldn't bear it. I hope u find some way of coping with this horrible tragedy. My thoughts are with u and ur family and of course ur darling son Harry, he'll be happy now wherever he is and any pain he may have gone through is gone now. I'm sure he took great comfot in having both of u, his loving parents with him at the end of his shrt little life.

RIP Little Harry gone but not forgotten xxx

I am so sorry.

it is a cliche, but time does heal some wounds and make them easier to bear on your journey thro life.

harry will always be in your heart as well as your memories, and remember this, he is not gone completely.....he is around the next corner playing happily in the way he always could in his and your dreams. you will meet him again when the time is right, and he will be your angel until then.

So, so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful little boy!! Am thinking of you and cannot begin to imagine your pain. Looked at the website and was so sad. You should be very proud of yourself for what you did for Harry and know that he will never suffer again. Take care of your self and each other during this time. xx
