My toddler died today

My baby died today. I found him in his cot this morning. He was completely well yesterday and has no health problems. They are completing a post mortem today.
I don’t know what to do. Why would a healthy child just die? I have a 4 year old and don’t know how to handle it with him. Any advice welcome, I’m obviously a mixture of completely numb and a mess.

I am so, so sorry for your loss.
Losing a child is the most devastating, heartbreaking thing.

Dear OP you've been on my mind all night. Just wanted to say again how deeply sorry I am. Sounds like you have some great support already but we are all still here. It takes a special kinda person to be a mother to an angel, and I'm sure in time you will get through this.

People will want to help you but don't know howto approach so please reach out to anyone around you and ask, even if it's your next door neighbour you hardly know, to come round and make you a cup of tea,
