I am stunned and unbelievably humbled to see that one little post I wrote sparked 1000 messages, and Im so appreciative of all you personal stories and jokes to cheer me up.

MN is offically amazing and you're all fantastic.

DM had a rough night, she apparently woke in the night with a bad headache which I think confirmed the disease has moved into her head (we expected this, apparently what's causing the paralysis often appears in the brain too). Still no appetite and sleeping all the time.

Hope everyone had a good night. I had yet more nightmares - theyre all about Mum and they all horrible. Shouty I is in fine voice this morning. Dad said he heard Shouty I bellowing to Shouty II to shut up the other day. Pot, meet kettle

Just popping in to see how you are today. It is so distressing to see any of our loved ones like your Dmum is just now. Be sure that you are doing all the right things and one day further on you can be sure that you did every single thing that you could. That will be of comfort in the future or so I have found.

You are doing so well - a little vaseline/lip balm so her lips don't dry out maybe.
Take care for you too - eyes closed, deep breaths,. Breathe in through one nostril , and out through the other - it really works to focus on the breathing and empty your mind to relax

Thinking of you lemon. It is so, so hard to feel so sad, helpless and utterly exhausted. Hope you get some sleep and some feeling of peace tonight.

Ahh Lemon one emotion you shouldn't be feeling is guilt - you have been with your mum when she needs you - a gentle hand hold for you and your DM.

I visited baby Connie today for hugs - babies really are little miracles.

There's a definite "feeling" tonight. We've all been around her bed all evening. Poor DBro is agonising about whether to go home or not. I think he thinks we'll judge him if he goes and "misses it", or maybe he'll judge himself.

I told him to go. He's been here since before 7am.

Personally I think its way more important that we've all been there while she's been awake. It'd be ideal if we could all be there as she takes her last breath but it its necessarily possible. As long as someone is there that's all that matters.

Lemon I had Lemon Drizzle cake in honour of you & your Mum this morning for the Macmillan Fundraiser. It was a sacrifice I tell ya!

Please don't feel guilty. At. All. Not everyone wants, or needs, a lot of entertainment, dancing, singing etc - I think your Mum sounds she'd prefer something a little more understated 😁 You have been simply amazing & I'm sure your Mum is just pleased to know you're nearby.
