I know we mentioned having a "chat" thread as well, do you still fancy one or not ? I'd like to be on the original thread as well.

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 03/12/2006 20:27

Enough of that...just got back from windy Norfolk, parents doing well, so that's good news.
Had a good chat with DH on the way back, definately established that we want another baby because I'm broody and really want one, not just because of everything that has happenned. The chat (all be it short) was really helpful.
Edie, has af arrived yet?
Lynne how are you feeling?

EdieMcredie · 04/12/2006 16:15

Good name!!!

No AF as yet but im usually late so no surprise there. Hope it comes soon though then plenty of BD next month xx

Girls, im ok, just been very busy trying to finish the livingroom off. Thats just about it,the joiners in just now finishing bits off,now we're just waiting for the sofa to arrive. How have you both been??
What are you both like with the name changes (when i get time i'll be changing mine too) LOL
Edie, has af arrived??
Jossie hope you are well!
Ive been ok, not heard from the hosp yet so thinking i should phone them at the end of the week, dont like to be a pest but would really like our minds put at rest over the xmas period, the last two nights ive had pains in my stomache which is a bit of a worry. Thats been over two weeks since my gp asked for an urgent app (how soon is urgent???????) or maybe its just me!! Think i'll wait till frid to see if i have recieved a letter.
Well im just going for a sleep, just finished work and im nackered!! Really struggled today, so i hope you are both well and having a nice week so far! I'll catch with you both later. xxx

Jossiejump · 05/12/2006 17:10

Good to hear from you-Try not to worry, the pains could just be everything settling in. I know with DS2 everything felt different, because my body had been there before!!
Best wishes both of you

lynneclynne · 07/12/2006 16:45

Hi girls, how are you both?
Hope your both well.
I gave the early preg unit a call today, about an app,so they have given me Tuesay 10.30 for a scan,so fingers crossed for then! I ve been feeling quite poorly, cant eat my dinners, wretching in the afternoons and evenings
, sore boobs, so hopefully this is a good sign, though im not building my hopes up just yet! I just want the scan over with, dh is nightshift so cant come with me will have to go myself as we still havent told anyone, though it is gettin harder as my waistline has expanded quite a bit
i had to move my button in most of my trousers did you notice this with secong pg Jossie? I did notice with last pg (mc) But with ds i didnt show for months, however i did hear by the time you have your second pg stomach muscles have gone! Also ds is wondering why im in bed everyday he comes home from school(god love him) and so many people have invited us out for meals and the thought of eating is making me sick! so dont know how we'll get round that one!
Well girls i hope you are both well and having a nice week.
xxx

lynneclynne · 07/12/2006 16:47

Sorry, didnt mean to have so many Things are going well, and i am very

Jossiejump · 07/12/2006 21:41

Lynne-I definately noticed I got bigger each time-with DS2 I was quite noticeable at Christmas (he was conceived on 6th Nov), m/c 1 & 2 I was thinking about moving into maternity clothes already at 6-8 weeks as I was getting big.
I think my muscles had given up the ghost!!
Glad to hear you're feeling poorly, it looks good and strong then.

lynneclynne · 07/12/2006 21:58

Jossie,i was thinking of getting maternity trousers as i searched the shops for ones with an elastic waist and couldnt see any,but think i'll wait until the scan on Tuesday, see how that goes.I went out for lunch today with a friend and had to wear a baggy jumper, and i did spot my broth looking at my stomach this evening

Forgot to mention i was watching a bit of Balamory today!

Edie, are you ok?, not heard from you for a couple of days now.

Jossiejump · 08/12/2006 19:19

See Balamory hits!!
You're probaby best waiting until after Tuesday for the trousers-I can understand why.
Yes hope you're ok Edie

EdieMcredie · 08/12/2006 20:19

Yes im fine thanks girls-been having some problems with the PC over the past few days-it has had a rather nasty virus. Think it's ok now though.

Im going to be ov on Xmas Eve I think!!!

Lynne things sound as positive as they can be with the pg at the moment.

I think Lynne might need a Balamory name too...

Jossiejump · 09/12/2006 20:57

But what name?
We're going to be busy Edie- AF hasn't started yet, but if I am on normal cycle, I should be ov on Christmas day or just after. (DS2 was conceived on my birthday-the most expensive b.day present I've had!!)
Hope you're both doing well. We bought a car today (ironically traded in DH's car, so still have to buy one to replace mine, but his was on its last legs as well!!) Our first day on our own without the boys in years and we spend £7,000!!
In shock now

EdieMcredie · 09/12/2006 21:48

Yes J we will!

Im going on a 32 day cycle...planning to BD every other day.

Im listening to Russell Brand on radio 2...soooooooooooo funny!!!!

lynneclynne · 10/12/2006 16:37

U2 are going to be busy over xmas
Girls, im just out my bed, didnt wake up till 3pm this afternoon cant believe ive slept all that time!!(apart from up peeing every so often)fell asleep about 11 last night

I didnt watch balamory long enough to get any other names I'll try and watch it this week

Girls, just going to make the dinner now, i hope you are both well.xxx

Jossiejump · 10/12/2006 23:29

I think DH would be mortified if he knew what I discussed on here (or else he'd think it was typical of me!!!)
Hope you're doing well-keeping fingers crossed for you for Tuesday Lynne
Balamory names- have a look at \link
{http://bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/balamory/}-don't know if that has worked-I've not done a link before

Jossiejump · 10/12/2006 23:31

Oh well it didn't work-you'll have to copy and paste, I haven't got a clue

Jossiejump · 11/12/2006 22:53

Good luck Lynne

EdieMcredie · 12/12/2006 07:48

Hi girls.

We have had our chimney swept and have an open fire for Christmas! It's very nice, and romantic

Hope you are both well, Lynne good luck for today?

EdieMcredie · 12/12/2006 07:50

Just seen that you are having to go to the scan alone!!!

Wish we could come with you xx

lynneclynne · 12/12/2006 14:11

Girls,im back and all seems well. at least i think.
Baby is growing as it should but they have saw a tiny tiny blood clot, they say its ok, but as soon as i hear that word i could cry! They say its the size of a pea,so lets hope it stays that size!
They say im 7weeks 4 instead of 7 weeks 1 which is good, there was a good strong heartbeat, so fingers crossed until next scan which is 18th Jan, i still dont intend to tell anyone until next scan just incase!

Sorry i didnt get on yesterday, didnt sleep too good the last two nights so felt terrible.

Hope you are both wellxxx

EdieMcredie · 12/12/2006 15:10

Good news Lynne. Im sure lots of women get clots and probably never find out. I guess they only pointed it out because of your history? Fingers crossed but it sounds good anyway.

I hate the fact that when the Mumsnet page comes up the first topic is Ante-natal and the title is something about being due in April and some reference to Easter Bunnies...really makes me remember that im supposed to be fat by now

Sorry to be depressing-im ok really!!!

lynneclynne · 12/12/2006 16:15

Know what you mean edie, found it v difficult to go back to early preg today, found it even harder when i realised it was the mw that told me id mc. I just wanted to cry,but couldnt as i was on my own,so saved it till i got home!
I think its even worse after the scan when they tell you things like the clot, maybe your right, it is only because of my history they pointed it out!
I hope you are ok!xxx

Jossiejump · 12/12/2006 21:20

I'm sure everything will be ok Lynne-it's just with the unwelcome prior knowledge that having had a m/c brings, we are all going to worry.
There must be something in the water about feeling down-I spoke to my doctor on the phone today and have got an appt Thursday as I'm finding everything a bit difficult to cope with-I don't want anti-depressants, don't know what I want really, I'll probably be better when I get Monday (my first due date) over and done with. It's doubly painful as when I fell pg 2nd time I thought that it wouldn't be so difficult to cope with Dec18th as at least I would be 6 1/2 months pg by then.
Just had a good chat with DH he hadn't realised (I hadn't let him) how bad I felt. I think its a mixture of PMT (due on tomorrow), m/cs, mum and dad moving, and being forced by circumstances to be two cars in 3 days (yes we bought a little runaround yesterday!)
Sorry to go on, I feel better because I'm being proactive by seeing the doctor and the doctor on the phone was lovely and sympathetic and had lots oftime for me.
Hope I haven't bored you stupid or driven you to slit your wrists!!
