I know we mentioned having a "chat" thread as well, do you still fancy one or not ? I'd like to be on the original thread as well.

ediee lol

Jossiejump · 08/04/2007 21:53

Hiya
Having a good weekend so far-DH and I went out for a meal last night as it is our twelth wedding anniversary today! , nice meal but couldn't eat it all, or a pudding because I felt sick, but never mind.
Lounged about around the house today, feel sorry for DH attm as I'm leaving everything to him -still it proves how much I normally do!
My parents are down tomorrow so that should be good.
Hope both of you are having a good Easter-Lynne are you OK? How are you feeling about the funeral?

lynnec · 09/04/2007 19:40

Jossie, thats good you are taking things easy and dh is doing alot for you...so glad things are going well for you.

The funerals on wednesday and im feeling ok about it just now...although i have been keeping myself busy and keeping my mind occupied with other things. Ive been taking the tiles off the bathroom wall, god didnt realise id be taking half the wall with me, we have concrete walls and because the house is so old, half the wall is coming with the tiles, just means we'll have to plaster them before the new tiles go up.

Edie, how are you keeping, it cant be long until you go on holiday now that'll be brilliant.

Glimmer, hope you are keeping well too.

Jossiejump · 10/04/2007 20:07

Hope that it goes ok tomorrow Lynne-are you going to be up to going (understandable if not)
Thinking of you

lynnec · 10/04/2007 21:05

Not so sure Jossie, just feel i've got to go for the family...just got in there from visiting them, it was heartbreaking, they are both trying to put on a brave face for me because they dont want me getting upset, but just knowing thats them both lost their two sons is heart wrenching, just found it so difficult going up to visit,my neighbour came with me as she wanted to see them before the funeral, like myself, so that made it a bit easier as shes a bit of a gap and a right laugh, so she soon cheered everyone up in the room which helped alot.
The funerals 10.30...i'll be so glad to get it over with.

How are you keeping Jossie???

Edie, what about yourself, how you doing???

Jossiejump · 11/04/2007 18:16

Thought of you today Lynne

Jossiejump · 11/04/2007 18:18

Had to go to the doctor today-to be registered for antenatal services-the epu need that done now. Confessed to him that I can't eat healthily attm-seems the more salt or fat, the more I want to eat it!!
Normally eat 4 or 5 bits of fruit a day, don't manage more than 1 now-putting on too much weight, but I'll get to grips with that when I'm ready

lynnec · 13/04/2007 22:54

All seemed to go ok, although the lords my shepard was played...it was quite a quick service which seemed to help, afterwards dh took me me for lunch and shopping which was quite nice.

Hope you are keeping ok.
Edie, how are you??

Jossiejump · 14/04/2007 12:03

Glad you've got it all over with Lynne.
I'm going through a paranoid time-convinced that things are going wrong when I feel less ill and more able to do things. Have diswcovered that the tight throat that I am suffering from (and did with DS2) is probably due to reflux (had it as a baby as did both my boys). I had heartburn in my previous pgs, but this is another symptom of it apparently-the gaviscon seems to help!
Trying not to be paranoid, but I guess it is inevitable!

lynnec · 15/04/2007 20:19

Jossie i was the exact same, there are days when i still think like that. At the last coulpe of months ive had unbearable heartburn, cant take any of the liquid stuff, gaviscon etc as they make me sick so ive opted for the fruit rennies which are really good.
Glad things are going well for you.

Jossiejump · 15/04/2007 20:24

Hiya Lynne-
Have you tried the Gaviscon advance rather than the other one, I found with both my boys that the weak mint tast made me ill, but the advance tastes of aniseed and isn't so revolting

EdieMcredie · 16/04/2007 10:39

Hey girls I have started us a thread over in Other Subjects. Its called Hey Josie and Lynne

Jossiejump · 16/04/2007 13:35
