I know we mentioned having a "chat" thread as well, do you still fancy one or not ? I'd like to be on the original thread as well.

LOL @ Edie with those name changes, i was going to chnage mine to Smileras thats what everyone calls me!!

Ive had quite a lazy day today, after ds went to school i went back to bed and didnt wake up till 1.30!!!! and just lazed about the house the rest of day.
Jossie your right about me being such a strong character, dh is always saying that, along with hes never met anyone like me in his life its because i appreciate everything in life and dont and never have asked anyone for anything, im also v,v independant, mind you this is all down to what i have been through in my life, thats whats made me the person i am (so cant really complain)

I hope works going well for you both,im still doing tues and wed, had to tell the lady i work with on a tues as didnt want her thinking i was becoming lazy with not lifting the heavy boxes ect, i also told her i had the mc a few weeks back and she was saying she also had one, so when it came to telling her on tues, i thought if anyone understood it would be her, she asked how i was feeling, when i replied petrified she gave me this really weird look saying petrified????Why on earth are you petrified????? Thought to myself shit,shes forgot about the mc, but oh no,when i replied because of my mc she said oh i wasnt given a shit about my mc, i just wanted to go back to my work!!! I just looked at her in disbelief and said WHAT???? oh yes they asked when i wanted to go in for the dc and i replied im too busy at work for a dc i will get back to you That really pissed me off big time and has put me off her!!! I cant believe it!!!
We still havent told anyone about the pg,and dont intend to just incase,im dredding the next couple of weeks though as we have been invited to some nights out,dont know what excuse i'll use for not drinkingit shouldnt be too bad though as some we go to i dont drink anyway,its just at my brothers i usually take some wine.

Well i better finish for now! I hope you are both well, and have a nice weekend, i dont have any plans,just now we have flood warnings (our garden is well water logged)hope you'se enjoy your weekend! xxx

Glad you are feeling ok.

We booked our holiday for next year today, we are off to Barbados for two weeks in May, as DP's bro is getting married there. Loads of people are going eg family and friends and it's all inclusive so it's going to be great!! I can't wait!! (Only cost two grand which isn't too bad)

Aw, that'll be brilliant edie!! Wish i was going!! We dont have any plans for next year as we'll be hopefully opening up the loft and doing alot of work upstairs in the house.
That's something for you and dp to look forward to!

Just noticed as i walked down the road today, so many people have their xmas trees up have either of you to got your up yet?? I still cant believe its december and like yourselfs Jossie and dh are praying we dont have another year like this year!!! From loosing f/i at the end of last year to going through nothing but grief and hassle from eldest ss(which carried on through most of the year) to the mc, we surely cant have anything close to all that next year! So hopefully all three of us have a very good year!! I also hope for bfp for both of you!

That woman was incredibly awful Lynne!!
It is so hard to imagine anyone who has been through a m/c feeling like that.
Edie, like the name-also very envious about the holiday, let's hope you'll be taking a bump with you.
On the Christmas front we are failing-we have some out door (only slightly tacky) Christmas lights that we like to get up be first of Dec, but they're still in the garage-work well to p* off my slightly awkward neighbours, especially when all others around are doing the same!!
A new owner has taken over the Christmas tree farm near me and my son goes to school with her son, so I'm looking forward to supporting her and purchasing my first real tree in years, we've had a false one the past few years because of DSs.
Have a good W/E, I'll be playing Christmas carols on a cold and windy hillside tomorrow, then will be visiting parents in their new house. -won't be far from you Edie
