lynnec · 15/01/2007 17:22

Hi girls.

Edie i was up all night with those feelings, also had terrible heartburn, woke at 1.50 with them and i was still awake at 8am!!!Dh woke around 4 and sat chatting with me, which was nice, but we both slept all day today!

Sorry edie, i thought ur scan was friday there, i'll be thinking of you x mines is 9.15, cant wait to get it over with. I just called my work to say im finishing up this week,it is such an effort to go that im just not putting myself through that, its only two days so wont be missing out on much, plus we already have more than enough savings for all the baby things we'll need.I just plan to get back to the gym now that my foot is alot better and just take it easy,so looking forward to that.

Jossie how is your face now?? Hope it is back to normal.

Well i'll no doubt catch with you both later, take care x

Hope you are both fine
(let's see how long my resolve lasts!!)

lynnec · 18/01/2007 17:41

I hope you are both well, just popped in to say scan went well, saw baby wave, suck its thumb and jumping about mad!!!! It took ages to get some pics due to it move about so much,do feel alot better now, although took mw nearly 20mins to get blood from me, i nearly fainted and felt very sick, its so weird though my edd is 27.7.07 and ive to go back to hospital on the 26.7.07 with ds i was there every 4 weeks, now its the gps that deal with everything, guess this is to save the nhs money!!!

Well just going for a bath and an early night, take care xxx

lynnec · 19/01/2007 18:51

Edie, how did you get on today???

EdieMcredie · 19/01/2007 22:25

Sorry girls I had to go straight to work after scan.

Saw the little baby and its heart beating!!!! It measures 2.6mm and apparently looks fine. It's not twins, they don't even think there was a second sac now-apparently it looks like a bit of bleeding, prob implantation.

We even have a photo!!!

Hormones measure at over 25,000 when the norm is around 10,000!!!

Jossiejump · 20/01/2007 16:27

Fantastic news from both of you-looking really strong and good.
Sorry didn't get on yesterday, we didn't have any power from Thursday lunchtime until yesterday evening, due to power lines coming down!
Really pleased for you both
J

EdieMcredie · 21/01/2007 10:10

Hi girls.

How are you both? Have you been having bad weather where you are?

I am feeling very very sick at the moment, don't want to eat much but I make the most of the evenings which are my time for not feeling sick. Im at my worst in the day and through night unfortunately...

Are you coming to/at end of AF Josie?

How are you feeling Lynne?

Speak to you both later

lynnec · 25/01/2007 16:03

Hi girls!
How are you both???
Hope things are going well for you both.
Ive been fine,ms has gone, given up my job and taking things easy while i can, and considering taking a holiday before baby is born, not sure if its ok to fly whilst pg, so will have to look into that.
I hope you are both ok, as its been v quiet in here.
Lynne x

EdieMcredie · 26/01/2007 11:40

Hi Lynne!!

Glad your ms has gone, hope mine does soon. A holiday sounds good and I think it's OK to fly up until about 28 weeks. Im off to Barbados in May. Ill be about 20 weeks on way and 22 on way back so will be fine. Where are you thinking of going?

lynnec · 26/01/2007 17:36

Hi ya!
Edie, quite fancy lanzarote,we love the canary islands,dh would love to go to America, but i dont fancy it at all,i have loads of family over there but still not tempted, we have spoke about it all day today, but dh would rather we didnt fly due to being pg hes very worried about flying whilst pg especially after mc and is now trying to talk me into a whole new bathroom and loft converstion i know the holiday could wait until next year but would we take a baby abroad so young...i dont think i would.I did read most airlines wont fly pg woman after 28 weeks and the date we have in mind i will be 29 weeks so thats a bit of a put off, not sure what our decision will be, maybe just settle for visiting the north of Scotland which is v,v lovely but no hot sun suppose i'll have all summer to sit out in the garden since i've given up my job

Jossie, how are you, hope you are keeping well x

Edie, is the ms bad???

Jossiejump · 26/01/2007 19:36

Good to hear you are both OK.
Have you had another scan this week Edie?
Not doing too bad, very tired as DS2 was up rather a lot during the night, but at least the kids at school weren't too bad.
Mum and Dad are having the boys this weekend so that we can start to move the kitchen out into our extension(12 months after it was finished).
It feels really odd when they aren't here-I long for some time for myself normally, but when they aren't here I can't wait to get them back!

EdieMcredie · 26/01/2007 20:15

Hi girls

Im not having weekly scans anymore as they discharge you when they see a heartbeat.

Pity about the hol Lynne, I can't find anything to suggest that flying is worrying. Im just a bit worried about the heat but I guess ill just have to stay in the shade.

Good to hear from you Josie!!

Jossiejump · 30/01/2007 23:43

Hiya
Been meaning to ask-What are your due dates?
Hope you are ok both of you

EdieMcredie · 31/01/2007 16:42

lynnec · 31/01/2007 18:00

Hi girls, how are you both keeping???

Jossie mines is 27 July.Ds was born 23rd July, so he says it will be the best birthday presant yet.

I hope you are both keeping well...ive not been around, too bust trying to fix other peoples pcs.

Jossiejump · 02/02/2007 21:22

WARNING-MOAN ALERT!!!
Can you believe it-that stupid woman who did her grand announcement to the staff about her pregnancy, she has now complained that she isn't being looked after enough at work and is stressed because of it. She has now gone on sick leave for several weeks. I'm glad I didn't see her as all I can think of is that I'd give anything to be in her position at the moment. She is about 8 weeks behind what I would have been on the second pg. (I would have been 36 weeks this week). I've always known that if she cuts her finger then she thinks her arm is hanging off!!
The good bit of this being that I won't have to work with her anymore, as evberytime I saw her it felt like a punch in the stomach. (I'm ok with some friends who are currently pg, but not with her)
Sorry to ramble on-am now going to drink a glass of red wine even though I am on the 2ww, and probably eat some peanuts just to spite fate.

Jossiejump · 02/02/2007 21:24

Feel better now I've got that off my chest-had a good moan and a cry to DH about it tonight.
How are you both feeling, are you getting huge?
Don't mind hearing about your pgs-you're different! (In a good way of course)
Oh what's that I hear, must be the red wine calling!!!

lynnec · 03/02/2007 12:36

Jossie, id be the same with that stupit cow!!!!! I hate people like that! Hope you enjoyed the red wine and peanuts Well its better that shes off work and out the way thats all i can say!!

Im a bit bigger than i thought id be, though havent put on any weight (yet)Im 15 weeks and have my spina bifida test on the 14th, im so shi*ing myself with these blood tests, id rather give birth anytime than give blood

How are you feeling edie??
Hope you are well and not too much ms.

Well hope you both have a nice weekend, im just taking ds for a hair cut then out into the garden to work, the weather is lovely out there.

EdieMcredie · 03/02/2007 20:26

JJ

Can't believe the woman you work with, she sounds like a right pain in the backside. Can't say things are any different for me at work-I don't expect people to treat me any differently although when im being sick I just ask that they are a little patient

Im not really any bigger, well im only 8 weeks but guess a little swollen. However, MS is a nightmare. Im being sick about 5 times a day and in the morning I even throw water back up. It's horrible. Evenings are not good either as sometimes I will vomit then too.

We even had to change the furniture round in the living room as the association was making me feel worse

Still happy im pg though and DP is great

Hope you are good Lynne and Josie good luck for impending AF, in that lets hope it doesn't come

Lucybee · 06/02/2007 17:17

Hi girls, just logged on to see how you are getting on. Congratulations and the best of luck, Lynne and Edie, hope everything goes really well for you both. Josie enjoy all the red wine you can for now, as when it happens it will seem like the LONGEST period of wine drought. Really hope something happens for you soon. Our twins arrived on the 18th of Jan, by C section. Both really healthy but very small compared to our son who was a strapping babe. All my worries about the Choroid Plexus Cyst that showed at the 20 week scan, were unfounded, so very relieved. Back to enjoying the odd can of cider ( well maybe one a night!), which I recommend drinking with a straw, and Desperate Housewifes are back on so what more could one want. I will log in every few months to see how you're all getting on, very pleased to see your news today, Lucybeex

lynnec · 06/02/2007 19:21

Congratulations Lucybee!!That was very nice of you to pop in,hope you are keeping well! x

Girls, how are you both???Its been very quiet in here!Hope you are both ok!

Ive been ok, feeling so good i dont feel pg, if that makes sense???? So have been a bit worried, did have some movement from baby in weeks 13,14 but none this week, which is making me worry even more! I dont think this worry ever ends does it????

Well i hope to hear from you both soon xxx

Jossiejump · 07/02/2007 13:03

Good to hear from you Lucy Bee and congratulations
I know what you mean Lynne-I know that if/when I get pg again I will worry for the whole time. DS1 has told me that he wants three boys and a girl for children in our family-thay means 2 more babies, I think I'm a bit old for that!

lynnec · 07/02/2007 20:07

LOL, never say never Jossie! LOL You may have twins!!!

It is a total worry, a few weeks after the scan i was fine but soon after that i was worried again and still am, especially when i know i dont see the mw until the day before my edd, that has just scunnered me, im going to speak with my gp on Wed, thats when i get my bloods done again, dont suppose there will be much she can do, as its the new rules up here in Scotland

Edie, how are you keeping???
