I know we mentioned having a "chat" thread as well, do you still fancy one or not ? I'd like to be on the original thread as well.

No I wasn't being sarcastic, I really am looking forward to it!! Maybe it's because im not really liking being pregnant! Today my ms has returned with venom. I have had to cancel everything and am shortly going back to bed. I also have a horrible headache but threw the paracetamol back up (not a nice taste) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

lynnec · 26/02/2007 13:33

Aw edie, you poor thing xxx I was like that with ds, everyone keeps telling me its a girl this time because ive had such a good pg,have got to say im loving it, wasnt so loving it with ds though.

Jossie have you tried the tens with either of your pg???

Id rather have drug free this time, not so happy about the epidural, got that with ds and it was too late, so think (hope)i can do the same this time...but wanted the tens just incase,as im not ruling anything out, dont think you can when it comes to the birth.

Jossiejump · 27/02/2007 00:45

I used tens both times, really liked it, but did progress to gas and air (made me sick!), then meptid (class A drug that I had to get on prescription and store in my fridge!), that doesn't have the same effect on the baby as the other drugs, and both times had an epidural, but it was what I needed, fell asleep after it and woke up 10cms dilated!, it helped me relax. Both my boys were back to back babies, I have never had a contraction in my stomach, only ever in my back, it was why the labours were longer.
I do find that generally speaking labour makes me sick though.

Hi girls! How you both getting on this week???
Mines been quiet, lunch with mum on monday, lunch with dh on tuesday, wednesday has some m/shops to do and today i have lunch with my friend lesley.

I hope you are both ok and having a nice week.

Jossiejump · 04/03/2007 19:38

Hiya
Sorry haven't been around much recently.Have undergone a transformation-went to the hairdressers on Wednesday and came out a redhead!! Decided to do this when I found out I was m/cing again as hadn't wanted to get my hair died otherwise. Have had so many compliments about it. All I've got to do now is lose the three stone of excess weight!!
We've decided that rather than trying to conceive, we are not trying not to conceive, I know it is only semantics, but it is a totally different mindset, hopefully I won't get too obsessed this time.
Have decided that my brain has accepted the last one as a late period rather than anything else.
Today was my second due date, not been too bad, just a little emotional, cried last night at the sight of 25 deer running across a field near my house, it was an incredible sight. Had a little wobble when I was imagining what might have been if it hadn't gone wrong, but apart from that I'm ok.
Best wishes to you both

lynnec · 04/03/2007 19:47

Good to hear you've treated yourself with a new hair colour Jossie, i put highlights in mines the other day...it does make you feel alot better. Know what you mean about being a bit emotional, ive been the same over the weekend...found out my neighbour died suddenly,he was a lovely wee man, in his 60's but very fit, always came into my old work and chat with me, id help him with his pc, and give him software for it,when i found out on saturday...i cried all day, got myself into a right state, the house was empty so that made it worse, now everytime i look out my window im crying, he has a hanicapped daughter and when i see her i cry, i cant bring myself to go over and speak with his wife as iknow i'll be no support what so ever to her in this state, so im going to send her flowers and hope i'll get a chance to explain later, as she doesnt know im pregnant yet.

I hope you have both had a nice weekend. x

EdieMcredie · 05/03/2007 11:17

Good to hear about the transformation J but L im sorry to hear about your neighbour.

How are you feeling Lynne and how far are you now?

Josie I think that is a helpful attitude to have. Also I found it really helpful after my mc to think of fun new things to try with DP for example the badminton.

I keep thinking of ideas for our nursery. Lynne, have you done anything to yours yet?

lynnec · 05/03/2007 20:43

Edie, we plan to have the lo in with us for a while, as we have yet to submit our plans with the loft work,we're not in any hurry with that as i had ds in my room for the first year, so it will be the same this time around.
Im now 20 weeks and have started to feel those little kicks, can even see them now, which is reasuring, since i wont have anymore scans. For a while there i was worried sick as i had severe stomach cramps and lower back pain...i dont think this worry ever goes after having a mc until the lo is born...even then you still worry sick about them.

How far on are you now? Are you keeping ok?
I hope you are both well. x

EdieMcredie · 07/03/2007 16:26

20 weeks, wow!!

Jossiejump · 08/03/2007 23:00

Hope you are both well
J

EdieMcredie · 09/03/2007 18:13

Im good thanks. 13 weeks now and feeling tired but OK. How are you Josie?

Jossiejump · 09/03/2007 19:12

Not too bad-haven't got clue where I am in my cycle, so could be in a 2, 3 or 4 week wait!!
Got a really busy week next week with my jobs, so shall collapse in a heap at the end of it.

lynnec · 09/03/2007 19:29

Glad your both doing well, ive had a terrible cold all week, but its hit me big time today, didnt manage to get out as i felt terrible, so slept all day...hopefully feel better tomorrow, hope you both have a nice weekend! x

EdieMcredie · 14/03/2007 10:40

Hello girls how are you both? I have a few days off and so am relaxing. DP has a half day today as the weather is no nice so we may go into town in a bit or just have a walk.

Im 14 weeks now and think I felt the baby move the last two nights. Looking at others on here it seems that although quite early it certainly is possible.

Hope you are both good and speak soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jossiejump · 14/03/2007 14:11

Good to hear you are ok.
I've been working flat out this week, with lots of bookings for the workshops that I do.
Had a shock as discovered that DS2 and I had worms!!
Have recovered from that trauma-typical, the things children share with you!!!

EdieMcredie · 15/03/2007 06:56

I thought I may have worms before I was pg but didn't have in the end. Just loads of itching which seems to have gone now. It used to drive me mad!!

You poor thing!

Jossiejump · 15/03/2007 20:25

Yes I wish my children didn't feel that they had to share everything with me!!
Feeling ok today, but getting pre-af pains, I had been thinking that maybe we should stopp ttc / start trying not to conceive, as DH was very irritable (as a result of all we've been through I think), but typically now these pains are here I'm disappointed!
Anyway if it is meant to be then it will happen!
Looking forward to the weekend, as have got a contest Saturday, then going out for a curry with a friend that I've only occasionally seen since college days, my parents are having the boys overnight, so we will be able to have a lie in on Sunday, then off to my Mums for a mother's day / my mums birthday celebration. I can't remember when I last had such a hectic social life. Probably pre-children!!

lynnec · 17/03/2007 19:34

Hi ya!! How are you both this week???
Ive had a hectic week....ds school called on tuesday to say hed had an accident in gym and would have to go to hospital, spent a few hours in there, in the end they said it was too swollen to say if it was fractured,so back on monday morn for more xrays....wed my poor wee cat couldnt walk, had to take him to the vet and was told she couldnt tell if it was fractured, to go back on thursday, luckily the antibiotics she gave worked and he didnt need xrays, so it s been non stop for me all week, glad to get a wee break over the weekend as i feel nackered.
How are you both doing??? Jossie you have alot of work on just dont you???
Eddie, how are you feeling at work these days??? Do you know when you will finish up with work???
I hope you are both having a nice weekend! Jossie, hope you and ds are feeling better now.

Jossiejump · 20/03/2007 23:15

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's get this right-I m/c on 17th Feb, yesterday I got a BFP (31 days after m/c), I know it wasn't residual hormones as I got a BFN last week when I "checked" because I had my suspicions.
How scared am I???????
The only reassuring things are that the line was darker than last month on the test and I feel tired with sore(.)(.)!
I really don't wantto tempt fate, so am a little in denial.

EdieMcredie · 21/03/2007 07:57

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it is possible!! And it's been happening a lot on here recently!!

Are you going to see the doc?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

EdieMcredie · 21/03/2007 07:58
Jossiejump · 21/03/2007 09:58

Not going to go to the EPU until at least next week (I have to go there rather than my doctor now) as I don't want to tempt fate after last time!
But have started to do my injections as they told me to keep them, bit scared to go as will have to have the hormone tests again and remember the dread of those numbers all too clearly!
Looks like I don't have problem getting pg, its just the staying that way-but fingers, toes and everything crossed

lynnec · 21/03/2007 15:05

OMG JOSSIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I HAVE EVERYTHING CROSSED!!!!!!!!

EdieMcredie · 22/03/2007 11:05

How are you feeling J?

How far are you now L?

Im 15 weeks today and apart from the odd day of sickness and general tiredness I don't feel too bad. Getting excited as we are off to Barbados in May for two weeks as BIL is getting married. Can't wait!!

lynnec · 22/03/2007 17:56

Aw thats brilliant edie!! Hope you have a great time!
Im 22 weeks, just back from hospital as my gp sent me to get a second opinion on the size of baby...she felt it was alot bigger than should be at this stadge, but the doc measured and also got a another doc to measure and they say its the size it should be...think its just i look very big for the size of me, but they explained ive already carried a big baby with ds so they have no worries. Dh said it should be me thats worried especially when i go to give birth to a big baby

Jossie, how are you doing???
I hope you are both well xxx
