Blue and yellow then (is that right?). I'm sure they looked lovely.

Thinking of you still, i know there will be god days and bad, but take strenth by how many people care about you (and not just the real life ones, although i have never met you i have been thinking of you alot).
You are so brave and it sounds like your DH would be so proud of all you have coped with and everything you have done.
I know when my Grandmother died some of my mums neighbours would cross the road and not talk as they did not know what to say, and it is hurtfull but you must remember they are being thoughtless not cruel.
The ony advice i can offer (and i know its not much) is cry when you need to, laugh when you want to and remember your loved and you love.
Hope today was better for you. xx

sunchowder · 18/09/2006 21:33

Ah Yorkiegirl...it is so good of you to reach out here. I think of you a lot, even though we have never met. That feeling we live with deep in our chests, that we are afraid will never ease...how I know that. I hope you can take some comfort here with us and continue keep the conversation going. You are so healthy and strong, Yorkie, I admire you so very much.

SherlockLGJ · 18/09/2006 22:13

They are horrible moments, but they will lessen in time, you will still miss him with all your heart and all your soul but the rawness will subside. Hope this makes sense.

Gingerbear · 18/09/2006 22:13

Like many people I don't know what to say to those who have lost someone dear to them - but after reading what you said about it I didn't feel I could just read and say nothing - I don't want to cross to the other side of the street, even if it's only a virtual one
I haven't been on Mumsnet long, but your sad news was one of the first things I read.
Two things struck me - how many kind and wonderfully supportive people there are on Mumsnet, and how amazingly strong you were being. I hope your inner strength and your two beautiful girls will continue to sustain you in the time ahead.

fairyfly · 18/09/2006 22:19

Just to let you know yourkiegirl for what it's worth i'm thiking of you and i wish i had some words of wisdom that could comfort in someway. I am glad you have company.

Enjoy your swim and the trip to the gym this morning. Hope today is a better day for you

fussymummy · 19/09/2006 09:55

yorkiegirl Its probably been said a million times before, but just take one day at a time.
At the moment you probably have lots of bad days, but eventually the good days will shine through.

AnelaSunshine · 19/09/2006 10:24

YG, don't know you personally but have really felt for you since I heard the news and felt I had to post to let you know I'm thinking of you. I'm in awe of the strength you've shown, I'm so sorry for what you're going through and wish you and your girls all the best.
