HI ALL, YG IS HOME SAFELY BUT IS OBVIOUSLY BUSY ORGANISING THINGS. I SAW HER AND THE GIRLS TODAY AND THEY ARE DOING REALLY WELL CONSIDERING. SHE AGAIN COMMENTED ON HOW OVERWHELMED SHE IS WITH EVERYONES GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT ON MN - I AM SURE WHEN SHE HAS TIME SHE WILL SPEAK FOR HERSELF. SHE IS JUST VERY BUSY AT THE MOMENT AS NIGEL IS NOT HOME YET AND SO SHE HAS SO MUCH TO ORGANISE.
THE DONATIONS FROM YOU ALL WILL COME IN REALLY USEFUL AND SHE ALREADY HAS SOME PLANS ON HOW SHE CAN USE IT WHICH WILL HELP HER OUT IN A BIG WAY WITH THE ORGANISING OF THINGS IN THE NEXT DAYS/WEEKS.
TAKE CARE EVERYONE X

Thinking of you today, i hope you have someone to go with you, even if they wait outside as it should be a private moment for you, but i think it might be helpful to have someone there, even if just to drive you.
I think you are a wonderfully brave lady with a beautiful family and i only wish that i had gotton to know you/about you on mumsnet in differant circumstances.
God bless

I'm relieved that Nigel is home Anna, and that you are finding comfort and laughter with friends and relatives.
Your girls are lovely and I can imagine what a source of comfort they are too.
You are often in my thoughts - I lost my father very suddenly and the few weeks afterwards were just surreal.
I am glad the collection is going to come in useful for you and your girls, so many people care about you, you have been a special person to so many on here and will continue to be.
Wishing you strength and iron will to get through the next few weeks
xxxxxxxxxx
Jane

Yorkiegirl, I'm sorry I haven't contributed until now as i don't "know" you, but I wanted to add my sympathies and best wishes at this awful time.

It sounds as if your girls have the best possible mum and wider network they could have to help them through this as positively as possible.

Thinking of you.

Gingerbear · 18/08/2006 13:48
