UPDATE ON YORKIEGIRL

HI ALL, YG IS HOME SAFELY BUT IS OBVIOUSLY BUSY ORGANISING THINGS. I SAW HER AND THE GIRLS TODAY AND THEY ARE DOING REALLY WELL CONSIDERING. SHE AGAIN COMMENTED ON HOW OVERWHELMED SHE IS WITH EVERYONES GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT ON MN - I AM SURE WHEN SHE HAS TIME SHE WILL SPEAK FOR HERSELF. SHE IS JUST VERY BUSY AT THE MOMENT AS NIGEL IS NOT HOME YET AND SO SHE HAS SO MUCH TO ORGANISE.
THE DONATIONS FROM YOU ALL WILL COME IN REALLY USEFUL AND SHE ALREADY HAS SOME PLANS ON HOW SHE CAN USE IT WHICH WILL HELP HER OUT IN A BIG WAY WITH THE ORGANISING OF THINGS IN THE NEXT DAYS/WEEKS.

I've kinda been avoiding these threads as I have had a couple of bereavemnents recently and I find it painful to hear of others pain. There is nothing to say that will make any sense but my thoughts are with you and your girls.

I hope that people at school; etc know, it would be awful to turn up at school and people ask if she has had a nice holiday!
I cant stop thinking of Yorkie and her girls. I really wish there was something practical I could do!

Once again, I am so sorry for your loss. Your girls are fantastically gorgeous, and your dh lives on through them.

I am very local to you and also have two dds (slightly older, 4 and 6) so if there is anything at all I can do, please feel free to CAT me.

I am thinking about you.

DD1 and I spent the evening with YG and her lovely girls yesterday - we had an "interesting" supper of 3 totally different ready meals from Tesco (finest of course) and also some strawberries and grapes (paid for) and cheese strings but no Fruit Shoots

Nigel's niece and her partner were there and the girls had a wonderful time being entertained by them - peals of laughter, very uplifting

YG is coping very bravely and she and the girls are getting on with life fantastically - I'm so proud of them - and she is very very touched by the collection on mumsonline.

YG they really are beautiful, beautiful girls. My thoughts are with you. MY FIL died early this year and the amount of support my MIL got from friends and family was astonishing and overwhelming. It's wonderful how human spirit can shine through at such an awful time. I just hope you can draw strength from it. xxx
