TERRIBLE NEWS FROM YORKIEGIRL

Yorkiegirl has phoned me from holiday in Portugal; her husband Nigel has collapsed and died tonight.
She thinks it was a stroke or heart attack.
The authorities are trying to get hold of her parents - they are also in Portugal
Fortunately, neither of her DDs saw anything
I don't know much more than that but will post if I have anything else

YG - just wanted to say I'm thinking of you - I was away last week and couldn't write much, but have been thinking about you every day and hope things are going as well as they can do at the moment for you.

Yorkiegirl, we have never met but you and your DDs are foremost in my thoughts.

My sister was widowed 9 years ago and found the WAY Foundation both supportive and useful. Like the group Marina mentioned, it was set up by and for those widowed young. There is a website here

YG - you and your girls have been in my thoughts a lot over the past few days. I hope the flight goes as well as it can and that getting home is a comfort.
