"Small was feeling grim and dark. He was playing toss and fling and bang and crash. Break and snap and bash and batter. Small said ?I?m a grim and grumpy little small and nobody loves me at all?. ?Oh Small,? said Large. ?Grumpy or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

Small said, ?If I was a grizzly bear would you still love me would you still care?? ?Of course,? said Large ?bear or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

Small said ?But if I turned into a bug, would you still love me and give me a hug?? ?Of course,? said Large ?bug or not, I?ll always love you no matter what.?

?No matter what?? said Small, and smiled, ?What if I was a crocodile?? Large said ?I?d hug you close and hold you tight and tuck you up in bed at night?.
?Does love wear out? said Small, ?does it break or bend? Can you fix it, stick it, does it mend?? ?Oh help,? said Large ?I?m not that clever I just know I?ll love you forever?.

Small said ?but what about when you?re dead and gone, would you love me then, does love go on?? Large held Small snug as they looked out at the night, at the moon in the dark and the stars shining bright.

?Small look at the stars ? how they shine and glow, but some of those stars died a long time ago. Still they shine in the evening skies. Love, like starlight, never dies?.

Missing my beautiful Belle, a year to the day we placed her to bed in her garden. Mummy and Daddy love you, always. To the moon and back xxx

It is very quiet... lots of running up and down to the hospital, doing the school run, doing homeworkk, arguing with hubby over stupid things keeping me busy

glad tom is settling well

Bluetinkerbell · 06/09/2011 21:14

DD1 went to playgroup for the first time today, she had great fun!
From tomorrow childminder will pick her up and I will have a whole day without her, being able to work properly Wink

Life is quietly plodding along, hoping to get pregnant soon again, so I can give DD1 a little baby sister/brother to cuddle, instead of cuddling Sterre's teddy bear.
She talks about her little sister every day, which is very heartwarming, knowing she isn't being forgotten.

HI, just a quick hello. Welcome to the ladies who have had to find themselves here, I'm so sorry for your losses xx

Hope those who are having a tough time at the moment are doing as well as they can (hugs to FM x)

Lavandes - Congratulations, that's wonderful. IS there a name yet?

Well. I've been booked in for induction on my due date (26th)! We've actually bought quite a lot of stuff, there's probably still quite a bit we'll need to get later but we're getting there!

Hope everyone is ok, glad Tom is enjoying year ten! It feels strange not being at school!

Minione · 07/09/2011 09:43

Morning folks

Cheeseand FM, I hope things are somewhat easier for you all now.

Lavandes - Huge congratulations on becoming a granny! Will you be granny or nanna or grandma?

I hope everyone else is ok.

I'm ok. I have to be. It's amazing what a nights sleep can do for you. This time seven years ago, labour was still stop startish, and i didn't know it, but i would be moved from Swansea to Worcester later today, and labout ould progress fairly quickly from 8pm tonight. You know, i laboured almost completely on my own? I was absolutely terrified. I wanted my mum, DH... but no one was there. DH just made it when they took me for a csec.

Morning ladies xx

Have seen photo of baby he is gorgeous, 7.5 lb. His middle name is Richard. We won't see him till Christmas. That is ok, I am used to his dad being far away, as long as I know they are all well and happy then so am I. We are only a phone call away and if necessary only a day on a plane. Keeping in touch is easy nowadays think what it must have been like for people before all this technology.

I am already Granny to Richard's boys dee. I hope the next few days pass as peacefully as possible for you. I will be thinking of you and your family. xx

Hope your husband is soon well again cheese xx

The 26th will soon be here Mini xx

How is your Mum fm ? I know that the hospital visits can wear you out. xx

Hi to the new ladies. I am so sorry you find yourselves here but we all try to support eachother. I will never forget the love and support I have found here. xx

How are you Caz xx

CheeseandGherkins · 08/09/2011 13:27

Afternoon all. We've had a terrible time lately, had a car crash on the way to the first day back at school on Tuesday. Was a nightmare, dd1, dh and I went to hospital via ambulance and still suffering today, luckily no broken bones and ds1 and ds2 were just shaken up. I was driving and someone just drove across in front of me, I had no time to stop although did apply the brakes. He's admitted liability at least.

They scanned me briefly and the baby is all fine thankfully and went to the gp today and heard the heartbeat too as I've been having some pains but he said that was from the crash and is ok.

lavandes that's wonderful news! So pleased for you!

dee massive hugs, what a difficult day for you. How are you feeling now? I haven't had my year date yet so don't know what those days are like but the 6 months etc have been painful so I can only imagine. So horrible that you had to do it almost alone :(

mini hope your induction goes well, how many weeks will you be?

shabbapinkfrog · 08/09/2011 13:36

Shock - Thank God you are all alright xxx

deemented · 08/09/2011 13:52

God Cheese - i'm so glad you and yours are alright!! Doesn't bear thinking about!

I am currently up to my nipples in cake batter - am making cakes for DS2 to take into school tomorrow as well as his birthday cake mad fool that i am

Minione · 08/09/2011 14:05

Cheese - Jesus, you must have been very shook up. GLad to hear you are all ok, how horrible for you. I'll be 40 weeks exactly! They said I could be induced early if I wanted to but it wasn't necessary. I said I'd wait to 40 weeks and if nothing has happened be induced then. I don't want to go overdue as it increases risks and didn't want to be induced early if not necessary so this seemed like a sensible compromise.

Hope everyone is ok xx

I've painted that smile on, and DS2 has had a fantastic morning. He got lots of presents which have gone down well and he's just about to have breakfast and get ready for school.

Can i crawl into a hole now and hide?
