Not feeling well today shab i've come over all flu like, throat and glands are swollen and sore, stuggling to breathe properly and swallow. whole body aching. I think it is tonsilitis, day nurse seems to have taken the edge off it for now, but I always get worried when I start to feel like this because the previous times I've had tonsilitis I've very nearly been hospitalised. GP tomorrow morning I think.

If I was coming down with something that might explain my exceptionally low mood the last few days.

Hope everyone else is doing better than me!

I (predictively) love the idea of sunflowers. Also have associations with rainbows... Another suggestion is pebbles on a beach.

Caz I think quite a few of us here can identify with grief feeling worse at times when we are feeling ill. Btw I have only had tonsilitis twice and the first time I had it I was hospitalised ... It's yuk yuk yuk, get well soon xx

I have had a very mixed few days. Some stuff going on that I can't talk about here but wanted to ask u all to light a candle tomorrow for someone who has touched my heart from a distance and a very special mum who sadly has joined our club that none of us want to be part of

Hello ladies. Thank you all for your kind words. I feel a bit less bad today, been a bad couple of days and a few unhelpful things happened at once. I had a good chat with DH last night about some things that were bothering me and that helped - he's a lovely man and I'm lucky to have him.

PPM - very sorry to hear about your special mum friend. :(

mini - I'm rubbish with arty stuff but one thought would be whether you could get a local art school or something to get some of their students to come up with designs as part of their work? May not be appropriate but might be worth considering.

caz - hope you're feeling better soon.

I got a call an hour ago to say one of my little ones died in her sleep overnight. She was 8. She has been a poorly little girl with a DNR order in place for 2 and half years but recently has been really bright so her death is unexpected as things were. Trying to take comfort in the fact she went peacefully in her own bed but its really rocked me.

Thinking of a beautiful girl and her family today.

I have also seen gp this morning and it is tonsilitis. feeling rough and sad :(
