Well .... Day 2 of my diet is done!! Am optimistic I can do it this time. The nearly three stone I lost before dh's transplant is back on along with some more so I am taking it day to day for now but I can hope I am strong enough.... It's all head stuff for me ... Once I can get my head in the right place it will happen... If I want to have ANY chance of doing the things I want to with the rest of my life I just have to get the weight off.

Oh not too bad love. Word is spreading around FB about a holiday friend of ours who is very ill tonight. Only a young man - he has had a massive heart attack. The hotel we go to has lots of people who go back year after year. One by one they are all messaging each other and asking can they help. Oh this is a shite world we live in. I cant see how we can afford to go back this year at all....but that is so trivial when you think of someone who is so ill.

Sorry to be a misery. Have already had enough of 2011 and we have hardly started.

I was talking to ds1 tonight about the sickness at school trying to establish if there was something worrying him at school ... He said to me "I was sick cause I didn't like the smell of the banana in my lunchbox ... It was the wrong colour" ... In fairness the banana was quite ripe but looks like he's had a couple days off school watchin DVDs cos of a feckin banana!! .... Plan for tomorrow is no bananas for lunch!!!

Kids say the funniest things dont they? It is so scary when our survivors are not well though. I suppose I better go to bed I can hear the alarm already . Thanks and see you tomorrow xxxxxx

Don't know if i have missed you all, but i work as a receptionist in a casino, long hours,very lonely, lots of drunks and people who are pissed off that they have lost. It's horrible when sometimes their anger is directed at you :( i need a new job xx

I do get a strange sense of satisfaction when commuting home though know everyone else is on way to work and i'm going to bed dreads rush hour trains

Had a bit of a rough night to be honest, knackered as i had only being asleep 2 hours when DSD decided to feed me conditioner, tangle a hairbrush in my hair and then proceed to sit on my face.

Thanks Lavendes. I have only met him about 6 times for 2 weeks at a time....but that is what 'our' hotel is like. A small community of people who meet up each year and just enjoy each others company.

I just made our lovely hotel sound like the tv programme Benidorm

This year the owners of our hotel have taken it out of all the UK brochures and are working just for the regular returners!! They have the hotel almost full for all this season and dont have to give Thomas Cook a slice of the profits. we need a lottery win to go back this year

Have also managed to loose my debit card The Halifax said, when I rang, 'Right we have cancelled the card so nobody will be able to use it!' I just ROFL and said to her 'Good luck to them if they try to!!'

Yes to the fag and drink but I will let the kids whizz about on the scooter....our Tom would love that!! I can always dream about Greece and I am in touch with the family who own the hotel and most of the staff are on FB. All will be well....all will be well.

That's great at last Lunatic I've been following your posts over the last few days and getting very twitchy on your behalf. Sounds like luxury accommodation! I had horrible visions of you stuck on a ward for 3 weeks... I really hope it's straightforward for you from here. Lots of love and luck xx
