Ds has been cutting small bits of paper, putting them into a pile and saying "this is my feesis (thesis ). Ooh it is hard work doing this feesis." etc

He is currently singing a song called, as far as I can make out "Shitus Meninditis"

DD (19 months) is very confused by her new baby brothers bits and every time I change his nappy she points at them saying poo poo, poo poo, POO POO (getting more and more upset that mummy isn't removing the poo).

She also calls winnie the poo 'wiggly poo' and gives a little wiggle as she says it

Winnie the pooH even -poo obsession in this house!

Ds is playing Superman.
Says "I'm Superman" then blows air out (like he's blowing a candle out). Then does a hard stare and says "laser eyes"
Also puts one finger on his cheek and says "I'm so CUTE"

Ds, then 2.3 'The sun has said 'scuse me to clouds'.

Also, 'superheros' always have their blanket so that they can fly - you know, the blanket that fixes round their necks....

oh a coupel of weeks ago whilst at my parents house ds had three little pigs read to him by his granny....daddy went to the toilet and locked the door as ds decided he needed the toilet, he then stands on the landing shouting 'daddy, i'm the big bad wolf and i need a poo, open the door our i'll huff and i'll puff and i'll blow it down!!'

the rest of the family were downstairs listening to him and posl!!!

DS1 has come home and told that he and his friends have been playing 'in the curtains'.

After further discussion I realised he meant 'ninja turtles'.

This is not an "is doing" - it was done some time ago but I've just come across it again and it made me LOL.

DH lives his life by lists - he literally can't function without them. DD2 did this one recently:

To Do List

  1. Trim beard

  2. Play football

  3. Make sandwiches

  4. Give DD2 money

  5. Hit DD1 HARD

  6. Make another list

(DD2 is 22 )

Ds just said "Fairy princesses is not more beautiful than me, are they?"

also this morning "I have got the nicest little bottom in the whole village"

(we don't live in a village btw )

Dd wants to talk about 'toyland'..."you know mummy, where granny and grandad are". She means Thailand!
Or
"Mummy, lets talk about the blood in our body. Does it hurt in there?"
Or
"Mummy, lets talk about the boy who trumper-pumper's a lot" - she caught a snippet of Thunderpants over Xmas and is quite obsessed with the poor little baby that "flew out of his mummy's tummy in a bubble of trump" !!!

I posted on the special needs thread about this one recently....... my ds is 11 profoundly deaf and uses bsl. the other day we were running late and i rushed in to hurry him along. I signed to him that he looked like he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards, and he signed and spoke and said "Mumma you got hedgy hair!"
Isnt that brilliant!!

prettybetty · 15/01/2008 15:46

my DD ( 19 months) has started to sit at the bottom of the stairs shouting out loud - GOOD GIRL!

I swear we have never ever ever ever introduced the concept of naughty step!

She just randomly cheers herself in that manner!

My husband has taught her to say ....GIRL POWER! GRRRRRR! he finds it totally amusingxx

purplemonkeydishwasher · 15/01/2008 15:48

we were on the webcam wiht my younger brother ds(2yo) said to him that his (my bother's) hat was too small beacuse he has a big head.
(and he does really. we've always bugged him about it!)
