Ds2 age 3 said to me this morning...'why did the bum cross the road? ' (it wanted to get to the grass on the other side)

hunkermunker · 13/01/2008 11:17

DS2 has decided a career as a stuntman (or possible slapstick comedian) beckons and is crouching down then jumping in the air and saying "boing", then jumping in the air and landing either on his knees or bottom and saying "ow!". He's decided his name is Pooh Bear and laughs uproariously when we call him that. He's looking forward to his birthday, has asked for "cake with cake lights" and tells me each day he will be two, then sings Happy Birthday to himself and then mimes blowing out candles. He has developed an obsession with a Fifi book in which Bumble has a birthday party and it makes me laugh to read it to him because he calls Bumble "Bum-bum" and Fifi "Wee-wee" [childish]

(How are you, Franny?)

DD2 is checking the dog for scabs

niceglasses · 13/01/2008 13:24

DD2 was 5 in Oct. He has always and continues to dress in his younger sisters clothes. Particulary he always wears one of her nighties to bed - they fight over it. Loves to get into her dressy up princess dresses. He has done this for a good 2 or 3 years now. I know this can be a phase but this seems to last longer than most I have heard of - anyone else had this?

calzone · 13/01/2008 13:27

DS announced in the middle of church that he needed to go home NOW
