4mum · 14/09/2007 10:41

we named our first boy kai 16 years ago and no one had heard of it!
we got some really negative comments at the time, and even decided to put kieran on his birth certificate so he could use that if he hated having such a different name when he was older.
now theres kais everywhere!!1
and he hates that he hass kieran on his birth certificate!

Edward James and Arthur Robert

Philomytha · 14/09/2007 10:54

Christopher Michael

I had Joseph and John on my shortlist, but when he was born he was obviously a Christopher. I want to use Benedict or Dominic if we get another boy, but I think dh will veto them.

I love the name Newton, but sounds dreadful with our surname, sadly.

kay1981 · 15/09/2007 15:48

Im from an strong irish family, so was expected to pick Patrick (or something similar), so was mortified to have to tell my nan that we picked Dylan, (traditionally Welsh, but we both love the name) she replied that in ireland, she went to school with a dylan, but it was spelt the Irish way of Dillan, so he is Dillan Joshua!!

Nbg · 15/09/2007 15:50
