Not easy finding boys names that sound good in both French and English. Much easier with girls!
We went for Louis because it was French great grand father's name.

Michael was after my dad ... I haven;t noticed in the thread ... is it really old fashioned now? I love it and half wish I'd not used it in case I have another boy!

not keen on the surname/christian name scenario

i loved Guy fourth boy but dp would not.
I think Sean is under used. Raphael, Emmanuel etc but a bit too NOW . LOVE Noah bu ditto.
Billy and Danny adorable imo but too ordinary for me personally.
Baby number 3 was caspar whilst pg but changed it when born. Roman always been a fave but i dont do them when they are top 100!

dd would have been Damon, mainly because everyone else hated it

i know a woman with kai, kallis and kayden(she'salso got a kaitlin and she's called claire)

luciemule we have a Barnaby too! It worked well in French Cameroon, Bernabe.

#3 due in a couple of days and if it is a boy it will be Jasper.

I have a Bertie Samuel Ellwood (my maiden name) !

My friend has a French husband and their son is called Louis..

we love Bertie as a name but many people don't and ask my what he was christened as.... we say BERTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Samuel Joseph, Jacob Henry, Jonah James and Hugo Rafferty. Next baby is a boy too, shortlist so far....

Beau Alexander, Atticus, Fabian, Linus.

I really love Rupert and Arthur but DH hates them
