Would love to know whay "type" of names people give their dcs - i.e. if people stick to the same thrend or style of name for their DC so they flow well together or if it doesnt really make a difference at all.

I'm due number 2 in January and am almost decided on a name, but have found myself coming to decision by trying all names with dds. Just wondering what others do...

Would love to steal hear some...

TheDevilEatsBabies · 13/10/2009 14:15

i don't have any, but my chickens are named in a theme:
Jessica, Erica, Mary, Tina, Rita, Pamela (and Monica and Sandra RIP)

Seriously though, my favourites in this lit are Erica and Jessica for real people.

My sister has
Taylor John, Jamie (oh god! i can't remember his middle name!!) and Cody Leo.

my other sister has Katie Harley (cos she loves the bikes)

I have a Joe.

Next one will be Henry or Phoebe. Unless I change my mind again.

No logic or theme... just like the names. And Joe looks like he would suit Henry too and I expect the next one will be look similar to him!

No middle names. Can't be arsed see the point.

HeadFairy · 13/10/2009 14:19

Ds is Luca Thomas and dd (due in December) is as yet undecided, however I quite like Chiara or Giovanna - keeping with the Italian theme as we are Italian on both sides.

Not sure if the names match each other or not TBH.

Middle names: DS1's is DH's name, DS2's is my BIL's (closest thing I've had to a dad ever), and DS3's is the name I've always wanted to call our little boy, but couldn't because our surname starts with an 'O' and so his initials would be BO.

Doobydoo · 13/10/2009 14:23

Finn and Milo

Alexpolis - Ariadne Danae, what a beautiful name

Arsed · 13/10/2009 14:30

Grace & George.

If i were to have another it'd have to be a Boy so i could call him Rory. Or Hugo.

LouMacca · 13/10/2009 14:40

Daniel George & Sophie Alice (both 2003)

alexpolismum · 13/10/2009 14:43

GetOrfMoiLand - thankyou! I love it too! I love ancient names and would like to call dc3 Ismene (pronounced Is-MEE-nee), but dh refuses to even consider it.
