What would your children be called if they were named after where they were possibly conceived?

My future baby could maybe be 'Alora' if it is a girl, or maybe be 'Holt' if it is a boy.

(OK, so they might also just be called 'home', but I tried to think of where else I'd been in the weeks around that time!!)

DS1 would be called sistersbed! He was conceived while staying at my parents house, in my sister's old bedroom!

Wrexham

Hmm, you could go for Flora for the girl, and um, I can't think of any floor/ground sounding names for a boy.
What about Lowell (for low, might be grasping at straws but it's the best I can do off the top of my head).

I was on a cruise when I conceived DS1 and have always joked that he should be called Cairo or Rhodes or Kusadasi - but it's more likely to be FortePosthouseSouthampton...

DS2 would be called LivingRoomSofaAfterTooMuchPinotGrigio.

Mine would be called Crowthorne (B), Crowthorne (G) and Camberley (G). Nuts on having two the same, but at least we'd be able to tell them apart from the fact they are boy and girl.

Disenchanted · 24/05/2008 11:34
