What would your children be called if they were named after where they were possibly conceived?

My future baby could maybe be 'Alora' if it is a girl, or maybe be 'Holt' if it is a boy.

(OK, so they might also just be called 'home', but I tried to think of where else I'd been in the weeks around that time!!)

Drag races or
Shakespeare County Raceway, depending on how specific you want to be.

DD2 would be Cwmdu!

foxinsocks · 24/05/2008 19:00

how do you all know where they were conceived (I mean those who can pinpoint it)?

muggglewump · 24/05/2008 19:01

Browse the TTC threads, there is minute detail on there!

ChirpyGirl · 24/05/2008 19:09

Also, not have sex regularly helps pinpoint it...

VictorianSqualor · 24/05/2008 19:24

foxinsocks, I can pinpoint the actual date, we hadn't had sex often around the time, and the one day we conceived had it a bit, erm, too much
(DP likes to say we broke his member)

Bromsgrove.

If we lived in America maybe that would sound like a fine name for a boy??

Luckily we don't and we had a girl, so she's Alice Isobel.

egyptianprincess · 24/05/2008 19:41

cherrylips · 24/05/2008 19:46

LOL mooki, my DS is from Rubery in Brum!

DS - Brompton
DD - Curzon

Always chosen to live in areas with houses built in the Edwardian era!!

janestillhere · 24/05/2008 20:04

DS1 would be called either Bramley or Aston Terrace (which the last bit could be changed to Terry) or Thenighttheps1broke

DD1 would be either called "Sultana" after the ugly carpet in my parents front room or
Birstall, Batley or Howden Clough.
Or Johnson (as in the Baby Oil)if she had been a boy? TMI

Great thread DH & me have had a good laugh.

Janni · 24/05/2008 21:05

Am now rather regretting not calling DS1 Hamilton - it's quite cool!

nellyraggbagg · 24/05/2008 21:05

Charmander - you surely weren't at Eureka as in the museum?!! That would be quite something...

My DCs would both be whatever the Swedish name for the white metal Ikea bed is!

MrsTittleMouse · 24/05/2008 23:08
