Harley - A boy or girls name?

Hi Everyone!

I am expecting my 3rd child in October and it's going to be a boy :)

We are thinking the name HARLEY.

I was just wondering if people initially think of the name as being a boy or a girls name?

I know of one boy called Harley. But I agree with a pp. The first thing I think of is a motorcycle. Sorry.

The Harley I know is a girl but I think it’s a unisex name and can be used for both.

DD has a boy Harley in her class at school - think his parents were 17 when they had him and his mum regrets the name now.

I used to know a boy Harley.
He was actually named after the motorcycle.
He would be about 30 now.
I think it works for either really - as long as you are happy with the "Motorcycle or Batman fan" question.

One of my child’s classmates is a Harley. He’s a lovely lad from a lovely family. They are into cars though!

Unisex. I do like the name but it was quite popular in the early 2000's and is a bit chavvy.

Ignore posters pointing out there is a motorbike which uses it as part of its name. There are dozens of flower names used for children for decades. It really doesn’t matter.

I know 14 yr old lad 32 yr old man. and 3 30 odd yr old women called Harley.
