To ask you to help me name our son?

Help! We can't name our baby boy. We've been disagreeing about this for months now, and he's finally here and we're still no closer.
So can I turn it over to you, wise Mumsnetters? To offer up your best suggestions and help us stop referring to him as 'the baby'.
Ideally we don't want any royal names, surnames as names, or American popular names like Grayson.
Surname is Chipp.

Beautiful boy! Congratulations! He looks like an Oliver but that could be turned into “o”ll have a chip” with your surname. He also looks like a Martin, Mark or Tom. When you look at him in the morning the perfect name may come to you

I think he looks like a Miles or an Elliott.

I think it needs to be more than one syllable as Chipp is a short, sharp name if that makes sense.

Chipp is a delightfully characterful surname, I think something longer and traditional with a softish sound would set it off best eg Alistair, Oliver, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Josiah, Lucian
