Hi all so I posted a while ago looking for a baby name for dd as there was nothing that really stuck out. Now She's here 🤦‍♀️
Both myself and my partner like Ava rose but I do worry it might be a bit too common, opinions?
I also quite like MIla rose or even Isla rose.
Pic attached who do I look like?

Ava Rose is a lovely name but I do agree she won’t be the only Ava in her class

Jessica is lovely and Jess is a nice shortening. Don’t hear it that often!

Ava is just so popular it’s become dull, there are 100s of them. Rose is the default middle name for every girl at the minute along with Grace and May, its a filler name. Every girl has the same mixture of names. Isla/Ava/Evie/Eva. They’re the Sarah/Louise/Clare’s of the 80s.

I used to work in a nursery. Might have been a coincidence but there was 4 Avas. If I were to have another girl I'd go for. Eliza, ivy or Aida: bit I like old lady names according to DH 😂

Ava Rosemary? Double barrelled is a bit downmarket..

Ava, Isla and Milla are all nice but v popular, as are Ada and Ida - Stella, Estella, Iona, Adela, Marina might be alternatives -

Some lovely suggestions there thank you all. It's just everyt time I look at her I just think that's not her name. I love the name Ava but I don't think it's her name🤦‍♀️

What is it that draws you to the name Ava? Is it the soft sounds? Two syllables? As Rose seems to be the name that features in all your possibles, why not go with Rose, or maybe Rosa? Rose Ava would be less well-used but you'd get to use both names still.

Amy-Rose makes me think of the ship the Mary Rose.
