Hi all so I posted a while ago looking for a baby name for dd as there was nothing that really stuck out. Now She's here 🤦‍♀️
Both myself and my partner like Ava rose but I do worry it might be a bit too common, opinions?
I also quite like MIla rose or even Isla rose.

Marie is a lovely name. I think Ava Marie is a nice combination.

Ava Rose is a beautiful name and really suits her. I would be going with that. But then popularity of name doesn't bother me. My DC have very popular names which are lovely, I wouldn't change them even though one of my DC has always had two others in his class

I also really like Ava Marie, Ada Rose, Ada Marie, Amelia Rose, Eva Rose.

Names such as Ava Rose and Isla Rose are so popular right now to the extent of being boring.

Jessica Marie and then DH chooses a middle name too? I don't think having your middle name is a problem, men do it all the time!

Jessica Marie. My eldest suggested our baby’s name and I think it’s lovely to give them some input.

I think we’ll end up with Jessica Rose…love there are options with Jessica. Rose is often used as a middle name, but I think it goes so well with Jessica, plus it does have significance for us.

Isla rose and Ava are both v common atm. It's up to you wether you want to go for a common name.

Jessica Marie however goes very well.

I prefer Jessie to Jessica, I'm not a Jessica fan and rarely does anyone named Jessica go by it day to day the full name.

I think if you're trying to avoid it being common you should avoid both Rose and Marie as middle names. They're about as common as it gets! Could you use one of your other first name ideas as a second name?

Ava Rose is very popular, but it's also very lovely. I think your name should be in there if your DS has your DH's name as a middle name. Ava Rose Marie?

Personally I prefer Jessica Marie, but there's nothing wrong with Ava Rose at all. Popular for a reason. Congratulations!
