Opinions Please! Liberty or Isadora?

DH and I really struggling to agree on a girls name.

We both love Isadora and Liberty/Libby nn.

For me, Isadora edges it. For him, Libby.

Which one do you prefer??

Much prefer Libby - Isadora is a bit frilly and fancy for me. I'm also of an age where wizadora (an old kids TV program) springs to mind when I hear it! Probably won't be a problem with her peers though.

I’d go for Isadora - nickname Dora. Teacher here with negative associations with the name Liberty/Libby!

I vote for Liberty ...would be on my list but sounds wrong with my surname

Of the two, Libby. I don't like Isadora - it's too long and too frilly without being pretty and I don't like Issy or Dora (sorry Aunty Dora).

Liberty is a nice name for a shop or printed fabric but not for a girl.

I can't consider Liberty as a name snd Libby is a diminutive of Elisabeth so that option is a bit all over the place.

Its just not a name, to my ears anyway. And Isadora is such a good choice. There's simply no comparison.
