DH and I really struggling to agree on a girls name.

We both love Isadora and Liberty/Libby nn.

For me, Isadora edges it. For him, Libby.

Which one do you prefer??

Isadora

Liberty doesn't really feel like a name to me, though I know it is.

If you like Libby as a nickname, full name could be Elizabeth.

I love Isadora but it reminds me of Wizadora - haven't thought about that in years!

Liberty is a great name!

Libby as a nickname for Elizabeth or Olivia I like, but I'm personally not keen on Liberty sorry.

Isadora is ok, but I'm generally not a fan of frilly girls names and I do think Isadora is quite frilly.

Liberty! But then again, I am biased Smile

@ChickenFriedFudge I like them both! Isadora probably edges it for me, and I prefer Izzy to Libby.

Liberty

Isadora sounds very posh and Liberty... doesn't.
I do really like Libby though as a nickname for Elizabeth but dislike Liberty.
I really like Isadora but I couldn't imagine introducing myself or my child as that, it just feels a bit much somehow. But the nickname Dory is super cute and she could also use Izzy if her full name felt a bit long, so I would go Isadora.

Flowerpowersy · 26/06/2020 20:25

Isadora is beautiful and classy! Liberty isn't...!

How about Elizabeth?

JollyGiraffe12 · 26/06/2020 20:30

Libby as a nickname for Elizabeth would be my preference but between Liberty and Isadora, I prefer Isadora

janetmendoza · 26/06/2020 20:31

Liberty - lovely don't know why I have never considered it before

mathanxiety · 26/06/2020 20:49

Isadora wins hands down imo.

Liberty is a faddy way of getting the NN Libby. If you want to call the baby Libby, just call her that, or Elizabeth.

I think it sounds clunky as a name too. And it has undertones of Donald Trump's America.

WeArePregnant1 · 27/06/2020 11:29

Isadora.

Liberty sounds like a name an American patriot would choose for their DD. Nothing wrong with that but you might not like it if you aren't an American patriot...🤷‍♀️

Libby is an adorable nickname for Elizabeth imo.
