ANOTHER baby names thread - DH says he will abide by majority view

DH and I both have our fav names chosen. We like each other's choices but like our own more. We cannot decide whose choice to go with. If there is a clear majority for one of the names below DH says we should go with the majority.

So which do you prefer:

For a girl:
Anna
Matilda

For a boy:
Reuben
Samuel

Girl: Matilda, although I do like Anna too.
Boy: Samuel

Anna for the girl unless your surname is 'Daptor'

Either for the boys.

I think they are all nice btw, but Anna has the edge for me.

becaue they were so high at the top...no idea thre was so few new threads...assumed it was a topic often used....

Matilda is lovely and Reuben is gorgeous but im not sure id be brave enough to have it as a 1st name as i cant help thinking it sounds like a dogs name. Iwould have it as a middle name.

isn't reuben and matilda the new jack
ie every other kid is called that.

therefor by default it would have to be the others - but am not overly keen on anna.

Another vote for Reuben here as that is my ds's name. In fact what am I saying ;don't do it , I don't want it becoming common .
