ANOTHER baby names thread - DH says he will abide by majority view

DH and I both have our fav names chosen. We like each other's choices but like our own more. We cannot decide whose choice to go with. If there is a clear majority for one of the names below DH says we should go with the majority.

So which do you prefer:

For a girl:
Anna
Matilda

For a boy:
Reuben
Samuel

Anna or samuel

matilda and rueben loely names huni

Anna

BUT

I do like Tilly (short for Matilda)

Samuel

Definitely Anna for a girl (I am biased, thats my name!)
I like both boys names, though Sam has the edge for me

Just out of curiosity MrsT which are your choice of names

Matilda or Reuben. Anna and Sam (it wil inevitably become 'Sam') a bit 'safe'.

Reuben definitely - except i hate Ben which he would get. But I dislike both Samuel and Sam - and every other boy seems to be Sam now.

Probably Anna for a girl, not really struck on either.

Reuben was on my shortlist.
