I know it could sound ridiculous, but it occured to me a couple of weeks ago and for some reason it's really grown on me? I just love how natural and sensitive it sounds. Grin

A comedian eh?

TheNavigator · 05/08/2018 19:07

As you stated, it sounds ridiculous. This is another human being you are naming, remember, not just your cute accessory.

Nanasueathome · 05/08/2018 19:07

MercianQueen · 05/08/2018 19:08

Only if he's a lion

Sessy19 · 05/08/2018 19:09

Im pretty open minded when it comes to unusual names, and I’m a fan of names inspired by nature...but I’d find this a bit of a stretch tbh. I’m not sure why, because Basil wouldn’t raise an eyebrow in me. But Parsley I just can’t come to I’m afraid...

HeyDolly · 05/08/2018 19:09

The name Paprika has more of a kick to it imo.

MikeUniformMike · 05/08/2018 19:10

It's a fine name for a lion.

Seniorschoolmum · 05/08/2018 19:10

MercianQueen. Grin Grin

BarbaraOcumbungles · 05/08/2018 19:10

Pregnancy hormones have addled your brain. Parsley is a completely ridiculous name - unless your a Guineas pig.

ignatiusjreilly · 05/08/2018 19:11

If you go on to have more children, how about Sage, Rosemary and Thyme?

ResurrectedGoldfish · 05/08/2018 19:11

Good god no. Please don’t call your child Parsley.

Lynne1Cat · 05/08/2018 19:11

No, it's terrible and ridiculous. He'd be bullied and ridiculed his whole life.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 05/08/2018 19:11

Call him Coriander? Or James...

Srilli · 05/08/2018 19:11

Terrible!!

HarryDaylight · 05/08/2018 19:12

NO!!!

SemperIdem · 05/08/2018 19:12

Mike

I was coming to make the same reference. I loved Parsley the Lion when I was little!

RoboJesus · 05/08/2018 19:12

Eh not the worst but I wouldn't pick it

NotTakenUsername · 05/08/2018 19:12

I would suggest any herb would grow on you eventually, in the correct environment.

DioneTheDiabolist · 05/08/2018 19:12

I read your thread title a couple of hours ago OP and thought Parsley was a silly name. But it's grown on me since and now I quite like it.Confused

Hopeoverexperience · 05/08/2018 19:12

Parsley is the name of a very friendly lion Smile
