We've managed to narrow it down to these three but baby's due in a week and we still can't decide for the life of us.

  • Sunshine
  • Symphony
  • Seawillow

I know they're not MN Approved names but hoping some people on here will have similar taste.

We already have a Honeybee and a Starling.

What happens when poor little Seawillow applies for his/her first job or meets new friends at secondary school? What an embarrassing name, I think unusual names are fine- but these are just mocking! Think of your child :(

EmmaC78 · 11/06/2018 21:41

Adoggymama don't worry the child will have changed their name long before then. No boy in their right mind would keep the name seawillow.

Sunshine.

I like different. Mine will also be different when he arrives.

RavenLG · 12/06/2018 17:25

Anyone who refers to 'beige people' or 'mundanes' or 'normies' over the age of 14 is even more embarrassing than the op would be if it were genuine.

Ah yes because judging and openly mocking people because they have a name (or choose names) that deviates from the norm is the height of maturity isn’t it.

LoveInTokyo · 12/06/2018 18:40

Giving child a name which would sound silly on a guinea pig, let alone a human, isn’t very grown up either.

It's very telling that you don't understand the difference between having a ludicrous name through no fault of your own, and inflicting one on someone else.

PieAndPumpkins · 13/06/2018 13:11

This shouldn't be allowed, legally. Particularly calling a boy any one of those fucking names. Poor child.

FrozenMargarita17 · 13/06/2018 13:31

I like Seawillow (CeCe for short?), solstice, Orion and Saturn too.

Do let us know what you pick!

WeEatTheYearAway · 13/06/2018 19:52

For anyone interested, since 5 past 8 this morning we now have a gorgeous baby (drumroll pls)... Fawn!
😊😊😊

Just need to pick a saints name for the baptism now. Hopefully that'll be easier!

Annabelle4 · 13/06/2018 20:02

Congratulations OP 🌸🌸

Newerversion · 13/06/2018 20:20

Fawn is a fab name! Congratulations to you, hope you are both doing well. Please ignore any pointless posts on here. I mean who posts and doesn’t even say congratulations? Enjoy your lovely baby.

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 13/06/2018 20:26

Really nice choice of name OP! Congratulations Flowers

BitOutOfPractice · 13/06/2018 20:29

Erm Orion the constellation is named after Orion the giant Hunter of Greek mythology who raped a woman and had his eyes stabbed out by her father. Maybe not a great choice.

BitOutOfPractice · 13/06/2018 20:30

Oh sorry I missed the last page Blush

Congratulations! Thanks

I suspect you won't be telling us if it's a boy or a girl though!
