I teach a 15 yo everyone calls 'Lizzie'. Also a 14 yo 'Elizabeth' who never shortens it.

I used to know an Elizabeth who was always called Elizabeth. She would be about 8 now. I also came across a couple of Betty's, but I think Betty wasn't short for anything. They were just Betty.
I did think of it for my daughter (it's my Mum's name) and in my mind I always pictured a little girl called Lizzie!!
