I have a 7yr old one and she’s variously been known as: Boo, Lily, Lila, Lils, Buff, Buffy, Eliza and Eliz.

She insisted on Lily at Nursery, Boo in reception, Eliza in Yr2 and would now love everyone to call her Elizabeth but will allow: Lils, Eliza or Eliz.

She lives in terror of being called Boo by old friends in front of new Hmm

Buffy is her big brother’s nn for her so is grudgingly accepted.

At three she would tell kind old ladies that her name was Tinkle Napkin Boo though so she can’t get away with being too grand Wink

9 yo Lizzy and a 12 yo who was Lizzie by her parents until 8 ish then she chose to be called Elizabeth.
