So, it turns out that Calliope is pronounced kah-ly-ah-pee - I just assumed is was "cally-ope" and was thinking, what an odd name to give someone

Hazlenutt - Not sure. I'm definitely thinking way earlier than Kate Moss. But I'd only have been a kid, so maybe I'm mixing it up with the way the ladies in Debenhams said it . The perfume was definitely regularly referred to as Anay Anay round my way in my childhood.

I admit I only know how to pronounce Calliope because of Greys Anatomy as well!!

But people not pronouncing my name drives me crazy!!! I'm a Sian. And it's pronounced "Sharn" as the little ^ sign elongates the arrrr sound.

It IS not pronounced "See - ann" what the actual fuck??!! So people are called Sian but they call themselves See-ann
