What do you think? I am rather liking it, fits the Biblical trend but not popular yet, easy to spell, short.

Only problem is will people pronounce it Job as in 'Job interview' or how it should be said Jobe? I noticed more people spelled it Jobe recently but I hate the e, it looks wrong.

What curiousuze said. God deliberately does unspeakable things to a good man, just for kicks to test his devotion. It's enough to make you an atheist. Oh, I already am.

I don't normally give a rat's arse about name 'meanings' but the story of Job is too breathtakingly awful to ignore. I can't believe anyone would consider using it.

sandberry what a good sport you are! Go on yourself and call him Job! I don't like it, but you clearly do so there we are. Maybe don't move to Scotland though... Grin
