Not coming up with names with agree on, and Persephone is a hard name to top!

So far we've got Serafina (altho not liking the nn of Sera/Sarah) and Anastasia.

Any other suggestions welcome

Because I don't like a name I have a chip on my shoulder. Oh dear

charitygirl · 11/08/2013 22:03

How rude and unkind, Hayley. OP - I would be tempted by stay on a classical tip, so Calliope, Chloe, Phoebe?

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/08/2013 22:03

Hello everlong.

NationMcKinley · 11/08/2013 22:03

Allegra, Ginevra, Juno, Hero.

You could shorten Serafina to Rafi.

idiot55 · 11/08/2013 22:08

Is this a joke thread? Are these real names?

If not I'm with hayley

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/08/2013 22:09

What's with the new puppy?

stickortwist · 11/08/2013 22:10

Lydia?

Hayleyh34 · 11/08/2013 22:10

No, Exit we're just not allowed to express an opinion. Sigh

JugglingFromHereToThere · 11/08/2013 22:10

Am just off to look up Persephone,

but meanwhile I like Phoebe, Sophia, and Allegra.

Isolde
Pandora

Hayleyh34 · 11/08/2013 22:12

Oh it would appear that you have a chip on your shoulder. It's all just opinions, if you like the name that you chose then it's all good. However calling people "peasants" for not agreeing with you totally shows what you are

JacqueslePeacock · 11/08/2013 22:14

Artemis? Pandora? (Perhaps not - you will panic every time she opens anything) Hestia? Rhea? Ida?

gazzalw · 11/08/2013 22:15

Our cats are called Hermione and Persephone but the latter proved to be a tomcat so now called Percy instead...

PeriodMath · 11/08/2013 22:16

Stephanie?

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/08/2013 22:17

And what would that be Hayleynumber?

JugglingFromHereToThere · 11/08/2013 22:18

I see that Persephone is goddess of spring growth, so perhaps either something seasonally inspired, or another goddess name could be good choices ?

Zoe means life (and Greek based)
Chloe means blossom, but you may think they don't match the style ?

CruCru · 11/08/2013 22:19

Callisto

You know Anastasia is the name of the girl in 50 shades of grey, right?

formicadinosaur · 11/08/2013 22:21

Clementine or Josephine. Like serophine though. Also Callisto, Electra, hero, hermionie, Jocasta, Orpheus, pandora,

Hayleyh34 · 11/08/2013 22:22

Well exit animal, it would seem that you can't take someone who has a different opinion to you, so that would make you a child. A name is a name. I don't like it, plenty do. So what?

Athena, Cressida, daphne,

Viviennemary · 11/08/2013 22:23

I was thinking it was a bit too dare I say posh. But quite like some of the names here. Like Pandora, Cassandra and so on. I hope I'm not a peasant. Grin
