Not coming up with names with agree on, and Persephone is a hard name to top!

So far we've got Serafina (altho not liking the nn of Sera/Sarah) and Anastasia.

Any other suggestions welcome

Get out more Hayley!

My kids have plain names, but I've heard them all and cared little.

Ummm, don't see why I need to get out more. Jus don't like pretentious names.

Hayley, Hayley. So they aren't your sort of names. If we all liked the same names it would be a very dull world and also kind of confusing what with the preponderance of Georges, Alexanders or what have you.

The OP asked for names that are kind of like Persephone. She is getting names that are kind of like Persephone. She didn't say "Please give me posh names."

And I'm not the only one on this thread that feels this way Wink

Missed out the word 'be'.

You seem to be implying that people think these names are trying to be posh. And find that amusing. No?

Hayleyh34 · 11/08/2013 21:55

Absolutely Laura, so why aren't I entitled to my opinion?

Hayleyh34 · 11/08/2013 21:56

Absolutely exit, I just didn't understand your message

I dislike these sort of names too, but I'm not naming my own.

You're sounding like a broken record now.

Yes of course you are. And we all judge. I judge posters with a number in their name.

Hero, Hermione, Ariana?
I think Persephone is a lovely name by the way.
