Hi All, back from Cornwall now and after withdrawel symptoms, have finished a new box canvas this afternoon. 'Horsey, Horsey Don't You Stop'. I love this dotty fabric.

Dior - bracelets look fab on the website
Meri - I do like your button thief

I've also blogged today too.

Nice to be back and will catch up with everyone's blogs tomorrow

Dior- well edone for opening a folksy shop... good luck with it and don't get discouraged as apparently its a slow time for sales on all the sale sites...

Well done Dior, that's fab news !

Whizzz · 06/08/2008 09:23

Well done Dior - Is that like the UK equivalent of Etsy (she said, tempted to give it a go also). I just so need to get myself in gear and start trying to sell something rather than just hoarding it!

Oh my goodness - I've gone & done it !!
I have an Folksy shop too
Under IzzyWizzyBeads.
I'm going to have to get my head round it properly & add some more stuff, work out decent prices (hate doing that) - but at least I now have a space on there!

lucykate · 06/08/2008 12:03

whizzz- shop looks fab..

you lot are bad influence though.. I have now registered for folksy though I had no intention to...

and I really should be finishing swap things and I have a painted page to take to the framers.. its a sale though to a friend.. but still a sale .. the pirate owl.... I made M scan it first so I can do prints.. or maybe do something else with pirate owl.. pin badges maybe.

meridian · 07/08/2008 09:38

have listed 2 items a print and an original painted page on folksy just to see what its like.. might be over stretching myself a tad but we shall see... right best do some e-mailing and finish my kid swap stuff...

lucykate · 07/08/2008 20:28

(4 are his to photograph or is that 5 anfd the rest he will have to edit for his other photogs.) ... anyway we are getting somewhere ish

Miaou · 08/08/2008 08:40

Hello folks! I am frantically bag-making at the moment, whenever I can (which is not much, because I can't do anything when the boys are around ). However I have blogged two I have already made and have another two to photograph when I get a second, and another two on the way to completion! I hope to get them into the shop by tomorrow. My plan was to have six, though I'm now thinking eight would be better, but there is no way I will get eight done in time ... sigh

Fingers crossed they sell!

Can I have some opinions please people. I have got the bails for the scrabble tiles - but now I'm pondering what to thread them on (short necklace length).
options here

Thin black ribbon, 1mm black leather thong, brown flat seude effect, natural coloured cotton thong - argh.

I also have organza ribbon but can never get the ends looking neat enough.

Also do you like the photo idea or do you think a patterened (ie paper) design works better??
Thanks!
