I've got the body I've always wanted. He's sat right next to me

ranting · 03/08/2008 21:57

Lol at MP!!

ranting · 03/08/2008 21:59

I'm actually quite happy with my ole' body and my face well.... I've got used to it!!

mistypeaks · 03/08/2008 22:00

I gotta say I'm happy with the body . . . The face looking back at me is much tireder than it used to be though. Sometimes I'm happier than others.

i actually quite like my body - it's just the big belly i don't like and even at 18yrs when i was 9 stone i hated my belly!! Having two kids hasn't helped it but you know what i love my stretch marks!

mistypeaks · 03/08/2008 22:09

I hate my stretchmarks. With a passion. Not what they mean obviously. DH loves them for what they mean to him. But mine are hideous huge and on occasion painful.

vInTaGeVioLeT · 03/08/2008 22:31

oh by the way i've updated my blog there is a giveaway from another site linked too would be great for you misty with your 2 dd's!

mistypeaks · 03/08/2008 22:33

I've just been on it!!! The youngest would look well sweet in it but is a little too big. Never mind my brother and his wife have found out they're expecting a girl . It is a pattern I'd love a go at though.

Miaou · 03/08/2008 22:35

LOL at you lot - a whole page of nattering

I have made a fab handbag today (well, finished it today) to go into the shop next week (one down, five to go ... !!! ). Will blog it tomorrow.

i cant keep up with this thread at all. must try harder.

does anyone on here have the alan dart lemur knitting pattern? it was in simply knitting a while ago, idea is to knit one and raffle it for charity but i couldnt get the email address to work and then i forgot about it and now i cant find the mag.

feel the urge to knit toys at the mo, prob because ds2s birthday is coming up. i always make them a present, have started knitting a dragon for him which he will hopefully like, he is very into dragons atm. but am a bit stuck now, am halfway through a necklace but seem to be losing inspiration with jewellery, i have a limited attention span. will no doubt go back to it after a break like i do with everything else!

for some reason i expected dior to have short hair, a choppy pixie type do. its always wierd seeing people off here, i never guess right.

meridian · 04/08/2008 13:40

streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesed... ok thats better .. can I ask a possibly silly question? well I'm going to anyway so there...

the story goes... I got a beautiful package today from a lady in Oz... its the kids swap.. but I have hardly started and i'm freaking out becus eshe sent loads of beautiful things for H and ... I have not so much done yet... a few wooden bead bracelts for her DD and some vintage story books, a bracelt for her that is half finished. (as in designed but not stated) .. arghhh anyway today I bought a little yellow vest from peacocks in the sale.. weel 2 one yellow one stripy.. I'm going to draw on it one of my designs w a fabric pen... do you think that would be an ok gift? really doubting myself here I am in a right state of fluff... she made so many beautiful things for us and ... I'm so behind...

mistypeaks · 04/08/2008 15:34

Do the pirate owl!!! Plllleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaase . Can you tell I love him and think every child should have one. I think that should be a fine swap.

meridian · 04/08/2008 15:44

misty-- not sure that this little girl likes pirate owls... maybe jsut a little owl... really need to work on it.. still going in the wash... still worried about it... i hate being so behind and not with it...

might badger someone into teaching me to sew properly... at all even.... I have ideas.. its just so difficult to get them in motion...

mistypeaks · 04/08/2008 15:46

I know that feeling!!! Your drawings are all really good so I'm sure whatever she is into you'll be able to draw with your own slant on it.

mistypeaks · 05/08/2008 08:19

Enjoy Warwick Castle. I used to love it there. I love castles and stately homes anyway. The jousting/knights are always good. We used to go to Boscabel House too which I think is fairly close.
