i really like the manga cards and i would love a jeans bag. if only i knew how to work a sewing machine, they scare me.

think i am just about getting the hang of having a blog now, i was really surprised to find people had visited that i didnt know, apparently you can search via tags (this is probably obvious to those with a brain but came as a total shock to me). anyway it means i have been doing more blog hopping than anything of use. blog

have knitted a few hats, i know its roasting atm but at least they will be ready for the cold weather.

have just looked round to see ds4 has a yogurt and is smearing it all over his foot (using his hands so now covered top to toe) and then licking it off. how i love summer hols.

Well my meeting went well, as well as taking the ring cushions and bags as samples she asked if I could make wraps and bags to go with prom dresses (of course I said yes!). No actual orders as yet, but she will call me if anyone would like me to make them a bag to go with their dress.

I've also booked some space in the local craft shop for in a couple of weeks' time - I'd better get busy making now!

Have blogged my ring cushions here but the photos are embarrassingly poor!

Morning All, not been around that much as dd has been very poorly with a bug but I managed to get some work done yesterday while she was sleeping.

We are off to C'wall in the morning and I have a mountain of vommy bedding and clothes to get through today so have a lovely day all !

hi all, not a lot of crafting here, have been painting frame for ds2's hand & foot mould. sadly needs at least one more coat
anyway will take photos of both of the boys sets once done.

missed out the engagement one for my bro that i did in a hurry last night but was a purply - flowery one that i used more of some free papers that came with a magazine i bought last week.

also got into cut-out stamps (what's the official name for them?) actually got a set of 3 from asda for a couple of quid & i've found a good source of coloured paper - test paint strips from diy shops! can get a good range of similar colours and get a couple of stamps from each block.

Have been working a lot of long days, so too bushed to craft but I have been busying buying, got some more Betsy Ross patterns www.betsyrosspatterns.com/patterns.html got the charmed dress and the raglan top this time, I have some lovely blue cotton floral fabric for the raglan and a minnie mouse style polka fabric for the dress. I only ordered them Friday and they turned up yesterday, so I emailed Aimee (the woman who runs it) to tell her how thrilled, got an email back today saying that I made her day!! So am feeling full of goodwill (love the stamps D).

Got this in my email today (am signed up to so many crafting newsletters my inbox heaves with them) and thought of Misty and her current bag knitting obsession, so that one's for you MP.

i sent a softie off for the 'softies for mirabel' charity auction, and it seems it got stopped at customs , thankfully he's arrived now, i wonder what on earth he was smuggling?

Thanks ranting. That has actually given me an idea for something I've just knitted. Not a bag, but it needed something and my mind was all blank . . . . excellent!!

i've had a few blogger problems too, last week, it wouldn't let me post for 2 days!

I received my prize yesterday from a beady draw & it made me laugh. There was a chance it coudl either be fantastic or fugly - I draw a fugly & it really it (I don't think the creator will mind me saying that - as it was made to be a fugly!). However it has some nice beads in amongst the monsters & some Swaro crystals too

Blimey she's a bit clever (a little ott for me, but the kind of thing I admire on other women). And I may be a bit nuts here, the central bead on your 'fugly' - I love it!!! On it's own that would be fantastic!! Actually stand alone most of them are pretty fab.

yes the pic hasn't come out that well.
The central one is fab & huge (4cm long) & has some lovely colours on. The bright green one is pretty as are the ones either side of it too. The bright red one reminds me of a lava lamp, the black dog/pig creature would work OK on a keyring or phone charm I think.
The blue one at the end looks like a duck vomitting

I must also point out that she had asked lampworkers to send her their fugly beads to make fugly stuff.

gerrrrrrrrrrr power has gone out twice here this morning.... have just lost a blog post and an e-mail as the connetion went with the power and it jsut dissapeared on me.... nothing crafty done today except a few rows of knitting on my poor poor little java jacket/cup cozy thingamajig... was thinking of posting it as a tutorial/pattern... not like its a difficult thing to figure out for yourself... I did it anyway as I cant do a pattern to save my life.. I blame being a leftie but it probably jsut me..

dior - we are coming to sunny (!) clacton soon, friday 22nd august we're going here, fil is driving thomas that day, then i think we're staying around until sunday evening.
