High risk

I have been told I'm in a high risk for down syndrome.

I have to go back on Thursday for the next blood test.

I'm 38 years old and nearly 18 weeks. So nervous and scared about the results and next steps!

What were your odds, blood levels and NT score if you don’t mind me asking?

@S1986york thank you. I am very relieved. I am not with the baby’s father anymore and we aren’t on good terms.

@Momlin thank you. My NT measurement was 2.6mm, PAPP-A levels 1.12 MoM and hCG 1.24 MoM. They gave me a 1 in 60 chance of having a baby with Down’s Syndrome.

Hi all I have got my results back and I am low risk on all trisomies!! I can’t tel you all how relieved and happy I am, and thank you to every one on this forum for all of your support, I couldn’t have got through these days without you xxx

@Momlin maybe you want to give them a call? I too was told to expect a call anytime before 7pm but I couldn't wait and they called me back an hour later.

@NoCallerID I just called now but they said the results aren’t back yet.
They said they would keep an eye out for them though and call me as soon as they do

We just got the all clear for all trisomies! I’ve never felt relief like it!

What a great day for you all. 😊 It is such a relief when the results come through. Good luck now with the rest of your pregnancies.. Are any of you going to have an amnio now? I have my second sweep on Thursday so really not long for me now!! X

@Liveforholidays I opted for the Cvs straight away as for me even the slightest uncertainty would drive me crazy.

My chances came back as 1 in a million so i am happy with that. Will not be having an amnio.
