Hi all! Yes, I was at the 4th festivites...fireworks over the beach, a carnival, all the trappings. DH and I got into an argument about buying a pool...I want one of those ridiculous looking three foot high ones for DS and I to play in during the day. The heat makes me a bit...shall we say tempermental? But DH is all "logical" and "financially responsible" and all of that nonsense and apparently we can't afford one right now. Ugh! I just don't do well at 97 degrees and total humidity. I sit on the couch with three fans blowing at me and whine like Veruca Salt. Sighh...a bit cooler today so that's looking up!

Ugh Cheerful this heat wave is brutal. Backyard pools not allowed where I live, but so of those that do... I'm melting...
