It always has
Knives, forks, spoons..... always

AI therefore BU to be irritated beyond belief that when DH unloads the sodding dishwasher that he cannot get it right? He always puts them in random places in our cutlery tray, but never knives, forks, spoons

I suspect he does it like this so that I stop asking him to do it, but we have been together for 15 years!

Knives, forks, spoons or AIBU?!!

Cannot believe this has been going since Jan 19.

Loved all the pics.

My dishwasher can put them in any order he likes as long as they are clean and he puts them away.

Ahem..

Someone has sneaked into my cutlery drawer and rearranged it thus...

Knives
Spoons
Forks

What is that all about

Can't even blame DH as he is Ashed Out in Australia

It's still not quite right, though, is it? move those knives to the other end

spoons forks knives

nickelbabe · 21/04/2010 11:09

aww because we're all spring-time

sallyJayGorce · 21/04/2010 11:09

Er...you are all nuts

nickelbabe · 21/04/2010 11:10

my birthday in a week!
this is what i want on my cake

nickelbabe · 21/04/2010 11:24

that's as may be, sally but you haven't told us how your cutlery is arranged

sallyJayGorce · 21/04/2010 11:28

Chopsticks, then spears followed by tweezers and mallets.

CANNOT believe this fashion for knives and forks has actually caught on. And spoons?! What's wrong with fingers and slurping straight from the bowl?

KnottyLocks · 21/04/2010 13:20

Hellooooooo

Loverly to see you, Nicklebabe.

I love those fork candles (see previous Two Ronnies extract). Must get some as it is birthday season in our house too.

Cutlery chaos. Blumming marvellous.

I once spent a summer eating everything with chopsticks...in England...including spaghetti bol and bbq'd stuff...and jelly.

Ahh, halcyon days.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/04/2010 13:48

Nickelbabe How about this? to keep your party napkins under control?

sally!

ooh, piste, i like those!

hello knotty! my friend in fork-keeping!
i have been trying to read the updates since Saturday!
i wish i could say it's because i've been busy in the shop, but it's been horribly quiet.
it's really because i've been spending far too much time on itsyrdayhun.com and making orders of service

(announces engagement by stealth)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 21/04/2010 14:15

Stealth announcement noted and congratulations!
