looks ok to me (have an English degree )

but how do you make a vision board? tell me more . . .

MegSophandEmma · 08/11/2009 11:14

LOL Mitchy cheers.

All you need is a large piece of card, glue and lots of magazines. A picture of you should be stuck smack bang in the middle, where the lines cross. [Blue peter badge emoticon]

Draw a line down the middle and one across the card. So it's split into four. I then went through the magazines and cut out inspiring pictures and powerful words.

My four sections have been split into Career, family, personal physical and mental wellbeing and love.

In my family section I cut of pictures of my family and children all looking happy. I also cut a picture of the sort of house I want in the future, along with a family car. Around these I have stuck words around (happy, secure, healthy etc...) I have also written present tense sentences about how I want the situation to be.

In my personal corner I have things like Gorgeous! and other power words spread about in it and pictures of women with lovely toned stomachs and a picture of someones healthy hair - mines falling out.

Hopefully this will give you some idea

Your welcome.

"will probably fill it up with pictures of horses soaring over 7' puissance walls"

And why ever not? lol

mrscrocoduck · 08/11/2009 14:19

haven't you heard of conincidences?

OrmIrian · 08/11/2009 17:02

mrscrocoduck - we all fill our heads with happy nonsense. Tis the nature of the human. Look at all those folk who spends their Sunday mornings in church. It's not confined to women. I personally have an addiction to Sci-Fi - load of old bollocks really but I enjoy it. Shall I put my Pratchett aside and take up my de Beavoir or Dworkin?

MitchyInge · 08/11/2009 17:13

you should try it mrscrocoduck, it might cheer you up a bit?

Ok, I was going to draw a little £ on my hand but then thought that the only reason I want money is so we don't have to rent anymore, so I've drawn a little house instead.

But then again, if we had enough money for a decent deposit we could get a mortgage. Oh decisions, decisions. Which will be clearest to the cosmic ordering service? I might end up with a doll's house!

minnietheminx007 · 08/11/2009 18:04

well...i dont know if this is cosmic ordering or not but something very bizarre happened to me yesterday after reading this thread.
I wrote down my cosmic order and headed off down the shops with dp and dd. Dp took my handbag off the pushchair and laid it on the floor for me to pick up, i didnt see it and drove off, we went back to the shop 15 mins later and it had been handed in with all contents still present. We then went to a pub and someone was sat in out usual seat by the fire so we sat opposite, this person then left and when we went to sit down i noticed after 10 mins she had left her handbag, how odd, it was open and absolutely bulging with cash.....i handed it to the bar staff and jokingly said to dp " ooo, we could have used all that wedge, i wonder if she will give me some money for being honest....a tenner would do" at that point the ladys grandchild comes in and i point out ive handed the bag in and where to find it, the lady then comes in 10 mins later and hands me a tenner.....how odd....it felt like i was being tested.

NorbertDentressangle · 08/11/2009 18:38

blimey mrscrocoduck -who pissed on your cornflakes this morning?

CaliforniaDreams · 08/11/2009 23:34

Well, I thought it was a load of old....well, you know, then tried it - power of prayer, cosmic ordering, or just plain positive thinking - and ended up winning a very unlikely school appeal (only succussful case out of about 30 or so appealing), and a few other things have inexplicably gone how I thought they should, just recently. Just need to get DH a job now, trouble is I quite like having him around so probably not trying hard enough!

mrscrocoduck · 10/11/2009 08:29

idiotic.

Poiparcel · 10/11/2009 08:38

I think my cosmic ordering has been going to the wrong address.
Don't want much. Just another DC.
I haven't been drawing things on my hand though....

If I drew a massive picture on my belly would it work better?

MitchyInge · 10/11/2009 15:16

I asked a friend who is very into all this sort of thing about the symbols and she said anything you believe in works, which is handy isn't it?

Hope it does work for us all. Am getting quite enthusiastic about all the projects I could set up with a big lottery win!

OP posts:
MitchyInge · 10/11/2009 20:37

TIGER IS NOT HERE YET

everything else going according to plan though

OP posts:
MitchyInge · 10/11/2009 23:10

(have had good idea about disguising horse as a tiger though)

OP posts:
InMyLittleHead · 10/11/2009 23:53

Alan Rickman isn't here yet either, selfish bastard.

thumbwitch · 11/11/2009 00:01

mrscrocoduck has clearly never got anything she wanted, hence her unwarranted venom. Ah well.
Let's all wish good cosmic vibes her way!

MitchyInge · 11/11/2009 09:12

hope alan rickman and my tiger are not stuck somewhere, doing things with mrscrocoduck even if she does need cheering up

OP posts:
mrscrocoduck · 11/11/2009 15:38

don't worry, we're all in a bath eating ice cream and laughing at you x

MitchyInge · 11/11/2009 15:57

you can keep the ice cream but it is most unfair that you get to have a bath with my tiger before I have even met him

good to hear you laugh though
