Strange behaviour from DH

DH has always liked horses. His mother and his aunt had a riding stable. At great expense, he keeps two horses and rides every evening and most weekends. The garage is full of tack and muddy boots. On our honeymoon, four years ago, we went to a dude ranch in Wyoming. We have pictures of horses all over the house.

The trouble is that he now wants to bring a bridle and a riding crop into bed.

AIBU to have had quite enough of horses?

This definitely needs to be moved to classics!

Hope you've not been waking up to find a horse's head on the pillow.

pokeydot · 21/11/2008 12:16

im sorry i didnt quite understand the OP???

it sounded a "little horse"!

Sickofhorses · 21/11/2008 17:57

My favourite observation was the one about a "stiff upper lip". It's only if you've tried to fit a bridle that you realise this is actually quite a useful thing to have.

I've been reading Riders by Jilly Cooper, now don't think I'll ever be able to get back into the book without PMSL thinking of this thread.

Sickofhorses · 21/11/2008 19:56

I think Jilly Cooper is of a very similar mindset to my DH

This may be a little late but I have access to a pantomime horse costume. The head's a bit tattered but he may like it that way. I can send it on if you want but you'll have to courier it back before panto season proper starts. Feel free to CAT me. HTH
