Strange behaviour from DH

DH has always liked horses. His mother and his aunt had a riding stable. At great expense, he keeps two horses and rides every evening and most weekends. The garage is full of tack and muddy boots. On our honeymoon, four years ago, we went to a dude ranch in Wyoming. We have pictures of horses all over the house.

The trouble is that he now wants to bring a bridle and a riding crop into bed.

AIBU to have had quite enough of horses?

It's a bit tragic relying on sexual props at your age. Have you tried getting him to do an extended trot.

debzmb62 · 20/11/2008 23:13

come on stop horseing around this is serious

Swedes · 20/11/2008 23:15

Or the odd mid-week jump, building up to a puissance at the weekend?

Ronaldinhio · 20/11/2008 23:15

I hate to say it but he's made his deep litter bed now let hom lie in it

Mhamai · 20/11/2008 23:15

Swedes · 20/11/2008 23:15

And remember - little and often.

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 23:15

Don't wear blinkers - he is horsing around under your very nose and I think that this bridle business is the last straw!

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 23:16

Yes, I'm only 28. The DVD that DH keeps playing is a french documentary about wild horses in the Camargue. Every single night.

It's probably a ruse to disguise the affair he's having with the gallop the road.

He's probably thinking 'canter find someone else herself.'

Flynnie · 20/11/2008 23:16

Oh Shetland pony. I would be worried. Lower down easier access..........

HuwEdwards · 20/11/2008 23:16

Innocent? I think you are in denial - take a closer look at those photos, are you sure you don't detect a smudge of lip gloss, a hint of mascara on those long lashes, a recently coiffured mane?

You need to start planning for YOUR future..

Desiderata · 20/11/2008 23:17

M-Hay-mi ... how are you darling?

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 23:17

So you fear wild horses could drag him away?

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 23:17

What do you mean little and often . Have you any idea how difficult it is to wear a bridle? They aren't designed for humans ...

OP posts:
Flynnie · 20/11/2008 23:19

Oh tell him to trot on.

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 23:19

oh come on love - stiff upper lip and all that!

Mhamai · 20/11/2008 23:20

I'm grand missus, I'm going to this London meet up thingy on Sat. Gawd I'm a divil for punishment!

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 23:22

I'm glad I namechanged for this thread. It's only because I've had a few glasses that I can fess up on MN. Any minute now and DH will be clicking at me to get upstairs.

Giddy up girl!

Mhamai · 20/11/2008 23:24

The song "saddle up and ride your pony" springs to mind. Can't think why!

NorthernLurker · 20/11/2008 23:27

as long as its not 'raw hide'!

Sickofhorses · 20/11/2008 23:30

May I remind you that this is a support forum? You are not taking my emotional and sexual problems terribly seriously here. No matter how much perfume I spray around, I can't get rid of the horse smell.
